Kuoh.
- "Let's get started. Thankfully, the atmosphere is right," I said with a smile on my face, looking at Ama-chan.
After walking around the city for a while, we stopped at McDuck, where Artoria, Medusa, and Enkidu were working, to grab a bite to eat and take a break from the summer heat. There weren't many customers, so the atmosphere was comfortable, at least for me and Kunou, who was happily munching on fast food. As for Ama-chan...
- "A kids' meal? Are you serious?" the Japanese goddess asked with obvious displeasure on her face.
- "Food is food, even if it's for kids, isn't it?" I asked and took a sip of coffee, to which she snorted and crossed her arms over her chest. "Anyway, what did you want to talk about? I'm guessing it has something to do with the Greeks."
- "It is related to them, but that's not the main topic," Ama-chan replied after a moment, slowly starting to eat. "First, we need to discuss our union. What are your plans for the yokai after we are married?"
- "What's wrong with them? Nothing will change. I'm not going to interfere in the management and everything related to it. It's too much trouble for me, just like with the Bible faction."
- "I'm glad to hear that," Ama-chan nodded. "But I want guarantees. Do you understand what I mean?"
I smiled.
- "And what might those be?"
- "Anything," Ama-chan shrugged. "But I would like a Servant from my pantheon. That would create a strong and obvious bond between us, since only you can summon Servants."
I raised an eyebrow.
Huh? How straightforward. But I have to admit, her words make sense. On the other hand, there are quite a few Servants from Japan, and I'd like to limit myself to one or two individuals. Besides, not all of them would be suitable, as some of them aren't the most intelligent. Take Shuten Doji or Ibaraki Doji, for example.
- "The list of Japanese Servants is extensive," I muttered thoughtfully. "Any preferences?"
- "Strong and, preferably, obedient. Well, or at least capable of behaving decently," she said confidently, to which I nodded briefly.
Yeah. Tamamo-no-Mae was the first to come to mind. She would be the most suitable choice. With the support of the Japanese land and Amaterasu herself, she would become someone on par with the Demon Lord. Of course, her life story was a bit murky and questionable, but her true personality made up for that.
My second choice would be Oda Nobunaga, specifically the Avenger version. Her Noble Phantasm allowed her to bend almost any god who caught Ama-chan's interest and fears. The question, however, was her character, which was similar to Gil's. However...
- "I need some time to make my choice, but everything will be fine," I said with a smile on my face. "I promise."
- "For some reason, I don't like your tone," Ama-chan said with a doubtful look on her face.
- "Hm? That's strange," I said, putting on an innocent and thoughtful expression, patting Kunou on the head, and then changing my posture as if I had been struck by an extremely bright idea. "But, come to think of it, I've heard that only children have an inexplicable sixth sense that saves their lives more than once. How interesting."
- "I'm not a child!" she exclaimed, jumping up and slapping the table. "And you just admitted to...?!
- "Don't split hairs, Ama-chan," I waved her off. "I wouldn't tease you in such an extreme way. Maybe a little, but still."
