"Hisham was just Hisham no matter how hard he tried not to be Hisham!"- Amalk807.

Attraction.

Repulsion.

The two very basic principles of Magnetism.

Two principles that went very much hand in hand.

When it came to a certain two people however...

One principle did not at all hold.

No matter how hard it tried.

The principle of attraction!

No!

Sorry.

The principle of repulsion.

Actually...

It was the principle of attraction.

No! It was the one of repulsion.

Attraction!

Repulsion!

Attraction!

Repulsion!

Attrac...

Wait!

What?!

Loudly clearing out his throat, Hisham couldn't help but roll his eyes at himself because like what in the name of Physics were these thoughts?

Thoughts which had brought him to a freezing point, for he literally stood frozen in his steps and for something like the next five minutes or so, he couldn't help but stand in the hallway like statue, trying to very much desperately clear them off.

Thinking that he had completely rebooted himself to anything and everything- Physics, he then very much quickly made his way into the secretary's office, which was also the makeshift copier room only for him to roll his eyes, much exaggeratedly this time, the second his eyes fell on none other than...

Isma Taib!

Ugh!

Way to go Magnetism!

Attraction- 1.

Repulsion - 0.

You had one job- Repulsion.

You had just but one job!

Choosing to or rather trying to completely ignore her entire existence, he slowly walked past her but it only took but a second for him to ask out loud...

"Why are you always everywhere, Miss Taib?"

"I...I...I..."

"Rather, why are you always everywhere I am?"

"I umm, Sir, I just but came to make copies..."

"Those were rhetorical questions, Miss Taib! Those were BOTH rhetorical questions!"

Taking in the deepest of all breaths and whilst holding it, Isma tried to fight really hard with the strongest of all urges to not roll her eyes back at him and just as she turned to give him the deathliest of all glares instead, he quickly added...

"You can go back to breathing, Miss Taib! Hypoventilation is most definitely not a job requirement, the last time I checked!"

She immediately exhaled loudly causing him to bite back a smile and with that, he quickly walked away whilst striking a conversation with the old secretary creating the much needed space between them.

Isma too tightly pressed her lips together in order to smother a smile not because of what Hisham had said but rather because of what he had just done.

The simple act of him walking away.
