~Chapter 19~ I'm Sorry

"Everything's lookin good Ms. L/n, now i do recall that since you're nearly already 2 months along in your pregnancy, i shall give you a list."

My ear's listening as Dr. Manson took out a piece of paper as he handed it to me, my eyes scanning the list of things that i should avoid.

   1. No Alcohol.

2. No Smoking.

3. Watching out for certain foods.

4. Excessive Caffeine.

5. Certain medications.

6. Extreme heating.

7. Contact sports.

8. Stress.

9. Certain beauty products.

And especially rule number 10!,...No Lifting heavy objects.

I already knew these warnings, there was only 10 things to avoid, but i know there was way more than just what's on this sheet of paper.

Folding it up nicely as i placed it in my purse, Dr. Manson gave me more vitamins for my needs, he was certainly very old and has been here since my mother was pregnant with me. Very kind man.

"I'll see you in a couple of weeks Ms. L/n, remember if something doesn't feel right don't hesitate to call."

He smiled brightly, leaving the room as the door closed with a soft click, it's hard to believe it...normally new mother's would be asking so many questions or freaking out about this. But not me.

Picking up my bag heading out of the room, the hallway was quiet besides the phone calls and kid's crying because of needles, more like screaming...poor little things.

Slipping back into the waiting room, seeing my mother sitting on a chair reading a magazine, i decided to place my next appointment, the secretary was sweet but had this look of "I'm tired of working" She handed me a note.

"Here ya are sweetie."

I thanked her looking down at the note, my mother noticed me coming out of the back, she smiled, placing the magazine down as she stood up.

"Everything okay?, you okay?, the baby okay?."

I chuckled, seeing her like this was always a sight to see. "Yes mom, everything's okay, no need to panic."

She sighed in relief. "Good, do you know when you'll find out the gender?."

I chuckled once more, rolling my eye's playfully. "mom it's to early,...we'll find out later down the Road."

Mother just smiled as we both walked out of the building, it was a cool day at last, not too hot. Just a perfect day.

Getting in the front passenger seat, buckling myself up i heard my phone go off, taking it out of my bag noticing it was a text message from Travis.

I red the message, my hand gripping the phone tightly between my fingers, texting back.

You: "Yeah,...on way."

I placed my phone back in my bag before looking out the window watching the beautiful morning scenery go by, my mother's truck came to a stop at a red light.
