The battle with kaguya continued shin returning to the battle field with sukumo, uzui with him using some spacial travel ability that shin had access to, with the 3s return Ga making sure sakumo still had the 8th gate activated. Kaguya was getting low beaten, nawaki and shin were about to touch her to seal her away when kaguya was forced to use her last resort. Using her devil fruit she pooled the hundreds of years she had to live and spent them in creating one giant ball. The ball went inside her as her power improved 10 folds, kaguya smacked shins arm away and was about to kill nawaki when Ga and uzui intercepted the attack.

Uzui tremor fist was perfectly countered, as Dan used his intangiblity power on Uzui before he got seriously from kaguyas strike. Kaguya generated several truth seeking orbs each almost hitting the cast with Ga about to get hit but being pushed out of the way by madara. During the clash shin teleported Orchimaru, konan, mito and lady Katsuyu into the dimension they were in, mito giving shin chakra back for the transfer. Nawaki and Ga were the main hitters kaguya once getting this powerup was far beyond madara at his peak. Kaguya only had less than 10 minutes in the form but it would be optimistic that the group could survive that long against her.

Sakumo was the first casualty of the alliance from kaguya, dying by a truth seeking orb that disintegrated the place where it hit. Rather than being sad about his death, he just closed his eyes proud at everything he accomplished smiling as he died his last thoughts being of his son and how he'll meet his wife in the after life. When he died at the same time kakashi who was around 10 looked up feeling strange, asuma would ask him what was wrong but he didn't say anything. Itama who was hashirama brothers grandson gathered the shinobi up. Ordered to stay in the leaf to protect the civilians and the refugees they successfully completed this mission hours ago as all the zetsus were destroyed via the cloud produced by the explosion that was set off by Ga at the snow base. They however stayed up knowing that the world's strongest shinobi were fighting for their lives and that they will be unable to help.

Back at the fight madara also got hit by a truth seeking orb but managed to survive it as he comments.

"I need to touch kaguya". Suggesting that madara had to get access to kaguya massive pool of power for them to have a chance.

Ga agrees as madara eventually did get to her, everyone from orchimaru, kushina and Dan helped him to this, a mere half an hour ago they were perpared to kill him but now he's their only chance. Once touching her he transformed into her summoning truth seeking orbs to equal her but even still she was stronger having access to more of the soul soul no mi amps than he did. Getting flung around madara only slowed her down as shin used the opportunity to attack her doing the first real damage, a single drop of blood dripped from her as Ga did the same thing. Kaguya wasn't invincible and this proved it, Ga would however get impaled by kaguya fist. She lived being teleported out of the way by minato just as nawaki, madara and shin did a combo move.

Kaguya was finally getting pressed as uzui also delivered several tremor punches knocking her side by side for them to continue slowly damaging her. The cast got constantly healed by either mito, tsunade, orchimaru or konan as kaguya finally managed to land another truth seeking orb. Madara was hit in the chest as he had ran out of forms to change into, no mangekyo left madara slowly disintegrated realizing his whole life was a spam. Spending years getting manipulated for another's plan had crushed him, although he was tricked he still genuinely believed that the infinity tsukuyomi was the best plan for peace as his legacy lived on he'll be ready to accomplish his dream.

Madara dies as the alliance loses a key member of the fight, shin and nawaki are forced to push past their limits. It wouldn't be long though that kaguya took a devasting blow, minato placed a flying raijin tag on konan massive bubble worth of fatigue and with prior experience of the hyuga weakness, a small section where kaguya couldn't see he aimed a kunai at that. Kaguya saw glimpses of the future however but it was a second to late, uzui, nawaki, shin and an injured Ga knocked her into the kunai. Switching places, the bubble got teleported right to kaguya as it hit her, shin and nawaki help out the seals on their hands to seal her away. Kaguya although incredibly damaged by absorbing the bubble and was tired wasn't taken anywhere near empty, they rushed to quickly and shin got hit on the side of the head. Nawaki was about to get injured to but Ga threw him away getting hit instead. Neither minato or Dan could help, they couldn't even perceive what happened, fighting for over a day and half straight caused them to get sloppy. Along with the fact Ga was forced to join the fight rather than play support as she could have before due to sakumos death Ga couldn't help recover their stamina although tsunade and mito were doing a good job it wasn't fast enough in this particular scenario.
