AUTHORS NOTE - WHO NEEDS THESE THINGS! TO THE STORY

RECAP - When we had gotten a few miles away I heard an arrow whiz past my ear. I turned in shock. It was daytime and I was amazed that a skeleton had survived the sunlight. What I saw drained all color from my face. That was NOT a skeleton.

REAL CHAPTER - In the place of a skeleton was a pale-faced man in a suit. He had glowing red eyes and his face reminded me of a creeper. I just stood there frozen, unsure of what to do, as he watched me.

Suddenly I felt something heavy crash into me. “Sorry,” I heard Lewis grunt as he struggled to get up. I opened my eyes and looked back to the tree. Nothing. He had disappeared.

I turned my eyes back to Lewis who had gotten up. He extended his hand out to me and I gladly took it. He yanked me up and I playfully punched him in the arm, “Watch where you’re going you big idiot!”

“Well I didn’t think you were just going to randomly stop,” He protested. I laughed and looked around. “Where are we,” I asked trying to change the subject. “Emily, why did you stop,” He asked suspiciously. “Oh I though I saw a pig,” I lied.

“Has anyone ever told you that you are a horrible liar,” Lewis laughed. “Well Simon believed me before,” I protested, quickly covering my own mouth. WELL SHISHKABOB.

“So you do watch our videos,” Lewis said proudly. I blushed and looked at my feet, “Shut up.” Lewis only laughed in response.

“Now Emily what did you see under that tree,” Lewis asked. “A man,” I whispered. Lewis went silent. I looked back up at him and saw he was deep in thought. “Lewis don’t worry it was probably just an illusion,” I said

Lewis scowled,  “I seriously doubt that.” I rolled my eyes at him and gabbed his wrist. “Come on we have to look for pigs,” I said, but he wouldn’t budge. “No. You go back to the base while I look for pigs,” Lewis said sternly.

“Lewis I can watch myself perfectly fine,” I protested. “Emily I don’t know if we can respawn in this world yet and I’m not about to test it out on you,” He said grabbing my wrist and pulling me back to the Yogcave.

“Lewis! Let go,” I said frustrated. “No,” He said simply. I started to squirm out of his grasp, but he just held on tighter. “Why are you being so protective,” I said giving up on trying to escape.  “Because you’re my… friend and I don’t want you to get hurt,” He said.

I rolled my eyes. “Well I don’t want you to get hurt either,” I said. “Oh and why is that,” He said angrily. “Because I car- nevermind! I just don’t want you getting hurt,” I said. That was close. Way to close.

He raised his eyebrows at me and stopped. “I’ll let go if you tell me why,” He said. I blushed, “Because I care about our friendship,” I lied. “Emily, once again I will tell you that you are a horrible liar,” He said. I looked at my feet to try and hide the massive blush that was creeping onto my face.

"It doesn't matter," I sighed. If I told Lewis then he would think I was a massive creep. Besides he had a girlfriend who was waaaayyy better then me. "I think it matters," Lewis said. I snapped my head up and noticed how close we were.

I wished I could stay in that moment forever. Just staring into Lewis's bright blue eyes. Lewis started to lean towards me, but a twig snapping to the left of us ruined it. I looked over and saw a smirking girl leaning against a tree."Sorry I didn't mean to ruin the moment," She said. "Shut up Alexis," I grumbled.
