Chapter 10

Simon was laying in the sand only a few paces away and I reached him quickly. I quickly checked him to see if he had anymore injuries, but he appeared fine. I pulled back and gave a sigh of relief before plopping down on the sand besides him.

"You scared the absolute shishkabob out of all of us you know. Lewis was close to crying and Eve was sobbing and screaming like there was no tomorrow," I said shakily before giving him a light punch in the arm.

He stood up quickly and turned to help me up, "Lets go see Lewis."

I nodded weakly and gratefully took his extended hand. With a smile of gratitude I took off. I didn't even realize how far Simon was behind until I reached Lewis. I tapped on Lewis's shoulder and when he turned around and saw no trace of Simon his face sunk.

"W-where's Simon?" He sputtered out, I realized then that he had been crying.

"Simon hurry up!" I screamed over my shoulder.

Lewis's eyes flicked over my shoulder and lit up. I smiled before stepping over and turning around. I laughed at the sight of an out of breath Simon. Before I knew it Lewis was flying past me and hugging Simon tightly. Simon was surprised by the taller man hugging him and almost fell.

 "Guys we should get going back! Night is falling and the others are waiting!" I yelled at them, almost feeling bad for breaking up their hug.

Lewis released his friend and be walked over to me, "Lets get going then!"

Simon followed Lewis clumsily down the side and tripped at the bottom of the hill. Lewis and I burst out in laughter before helping him up. His face was red with embarrassment when we helped him up and I smirked at him. He responded with a shut up look and i started laughing again.

Lewis shook his head with a smile on his face and turned to the way we came, "Come on!"

THE TRIP BACK LATER -----

The trip back had been full of laughs, teasing, and just plain talking. We were now at the door and the fact that I heard no crying or screaming meant that Eve had calmed down. THANK NOTCH! I pushed the door open to see not 2 but 3 figures standing in the dark. Oh god...

IT WON'T BE JACOB EITHER)
