Trapped - A Yogscast Fan Fiction

Chapter 9

"Hello Simon," Lewis responded cheerily.

I waved at the two before walking over to the furnaces. I put a price of pork in one of the before turning to the others.

"I'll smelt all the pork!" I said cheerily.

Lewis smiles at me and held out the pork he had collected.

"I'll go get Alexis,"Eve offered walking towards the staircase.

"Thanks," I responded.

I heard her footsteps descend down the stairs but didn't bother looking up from the furnace.

"Do you guys have any coal?" I asked.

"Yeah, I think there is some in here," Lewis responded.

His response was followed by the chest noise and the sound of rummaging. After a few minutes I heard Lewis shut the chest and walk over.

"Here you are," he said.

I turned around and took the coal from his outstretched hand. I stood up on my tip toes in order the be as talk as him.

"Ha! Now I'm as tall as you," I said proudly.

He chuckled and walked over to one of the furnaces,"you could use some help, there is a LOT of pork to cook,"

I nodded and started to cook pork in one of the furnaces, Lewis on my side.

******SOME COOKING LATER******

I jumped as a large boom shook the ground. Simon let out a high pitched wail and I heard Eve let out a loud screech .

Lewis and I turned our heads in shock. Where the back door had been there was now a gaping hole. Eve was still screaming and Lewis and I took off towards the door.

I stopped to calm Eve down while Lewis kept going to look for Simon. I heard heavy footsteps from behind me.

"What happened!" Alexis screamed.

"Lewis go check the spawn for Simon!" I said.

Alexis looked at me confused and I pushed Eve towards her.

"Eve stay and tell Alexis what happened. I'm going to go help Lewis," I said before taking off.

I ran after Lewis and easily caught up with him. He merely gave me a scared glance and kept running. He easily kept up with me and we reached the spawn in a matter of minutes.

"Simon? Friend?" Lewis asked in a panic.

"Let's split up, cover more ground," I offered.

"Emily I already don't know where one friend is. I don't want to not know where you are to"he responded solemnly.

I opened my mouth to respond but quickly shut it. I grabbed his wrist and pulled him over to the shore.

"Lewis you stay here and calm down, I'll find Simon. Trust me," I said comfortingly.

He looked down at the sand and stayed silent. I sighed and turned to look for Simon.

I scanned the barren desert for any sign of movement. For a second I heard nothing.

"Flipping 'ell," I turned quickly at the sound of Simon's voice and sprinted over.

"Simon?" I yelled out.

"Over here," I heard him respond gruffly. 

"Thank god," I muttered with relief running over.
