Sorry for late update. Had a minor writer block. Hope this longer chapter can make up for it.

Chapter 2: All Your Fault

"This is all your fault!"

Riley gave me an annoying look with his arms crossed, making his muscles hugely visible against his tight black shirt.

I thought he dislike black.

But then, black looks really good on him.

Wait what?

I shook my head vigorously to get that thought out of my mind at the same time he spoke with a grimace, "Have some faith in me, will you?"

I snorted at him. "Me? Have faith in you? You must be dreaming."

"Ape, if this is a dream then it would be my nightmare." He snickered.

...Two Hours Ago...

"Excuse me?" I spluttered, blinking a few times unbelievably at our teacher, Mr Bladwin.

Who had just reject our project plan.

Such a fucking twist, breadstick! I did not just spend the rest of that day fixing an action plan just to have it die during its birth.

Unconsciously, I glanced to my left, looking for support. Riley Kraemer too, had a matching bewilderment expression on his face. As he shook himself out of dazzle, he answered my doubtful look with a simple shrug.

"Sir, have you...um...read the whole-"

Wow, is Riley actually stammering?

"Yes, Mr. Creamer!" He interrupted. But before he could continue, Riley's face scrunched up in annoyance as he corrected, "It's Kraemer, sir."

"Whatever. I know what you're going to say. So, yes, I had read the whole of your action plan."

Mr Baldwin paused as he ruffled through his thick bunch of paper on his paper. I folded my arms across my chest, placing the whole of my body weight in my right leg while leaning against the desk.

"About your suggested idea...let me see." He took off his spectacle, his eyes piercing thorough the whole of the list of thing he written on the part. "Hmm, Kreamer-"

Riley rolled his eyes.

"-and Marshall." He throw the paper across the table and the paper was held against its will to fly all over be place by a staples.

"Your idea..." He spread his hand and I held my breathe. "...was really good. I must say, it's still the best I've come across."

I finally exhaled, my foot still tapping against the floor impatiently.

"But-" Mr Baldwin held up his index finger to stop Riley.

"I'm not done yet." He warned. "But the rest of the plan is absolutely blemish. Go. Fix. It. Both of you. Now off you go."

"Next!" He waved us off as he called up the next pair, totally ignoring my protest. "Andrew Wilson and Kayla Peyton."

Andrew gave me an encouraging smile as he passed me by. I didn't return it, instead clenched my fist, looking straight ahead at a particular person.

"Oh, come on. Don't look so stress. It's just a project." He teased lightly as soon as I took my seat.

I raised my eyebrow in disdain. "Just a project?" I placed my file on the table, a little harder than necessary, making a loud noise. "Sure, Riley. It's just a project."
