Moirai’s POV
Yesterday, Leo had asked what time I was coming back from college giving me a little idea that he would probably meet me up. So I gave in a little extra effort to dress up for college today. I was pretty excited to go to college. Especially after JarAss’s little love confession!
I reached college and I was waiting for the lift when I saw Sana walking in the corridor with Jar-Ass.
Aww!
They look so cute together. It seems as if they are having another argument over something.
Sana saw me and rushed to where I stood, carefully hugging me.
“I missed you so much!” she whined. She was wearing a white tank top and her old blue jeans with those about-to-die shoes. She was still wearing the owl pendent which she was wearing the first time we met.
“I missed you too” I said completely meaning it.
“No one misses me”, Jar-Ass cried, making a sad puppy face. He wants attention all the time! Such an Ass! He was wearing a pistachio green t-shirt and his blue denims.
“I missed you too, Ass” I told him.
“You look bad, though” he said genuinely.
“Uhh! Thanks for the compliment anyways” I muttered. Sana smacked him with her elbow in his gut! That must have hurt him!
“What was that for?” he asked rubbing his sore gut.
“You don’t talk to her ‘ladat’!” she scowled, protectively.
“Oooo.. Ladat haan!” he said imitating her.
“Like. That. Happy now?” she clarified. Her nose was red with anger and if looks could kill Jaras would have been dead by now!
“Yeeeeaaaaahhh Buddy!” Jar-Ass smirked. This is his signature statement, when he wants marks his triumph in any argument.
I turned to Sana, “Ignore” I told her.
She nodded back. Sana and I had a secret untold pact, if one was upset with Jar-Ass, the other one would also be upset with him for no very reason.
I have to tell them about Leo, I reminded myself.
All three of us got in the lift as it came. Sana was the first one to get in then I got inside and Jar-Ass followed. I was standing between Ass and Sana. Both of them were quiet. Not even looking at each other. This is their typical behaviour. Their typical behaviour consisted of the following steps:
1. Argue
2. Act like strangers for a while.
3. After five minutes start talking.
4. Argue again!
And then all the steps are repeated all over again. This cycle would go on and on and on. Lift halted and all three of us climbed out of the lift and we started walking towards our class.
Jar-ass entered the class, Sana and I followed. I saw JarAss’s face lit as soon as he got inside the classroom. Even Sana noticed the sudden grin on his face.
“Did he tell you about her?” she asked me.
Wait! Wasn’t she the ‘her’ she is talking about? Wasn’t she the ‘her’ Jar-Ass told me about? What’s wrong?!
We occupied the third bench. of the left row. All three of us sat together. I chose to sit in between them so that I can talk to both of them.
“You like Sana, right?” I whispered softly to Jaras, but even Sana heard my question.
