Moirai’s POV

I had an hour and half to get ready for the Leo’s house party. Never before had I thought so much before getting ready for any party. I was never so confused. I opened to cupboard and stared blankly.

After a good 20 minutes of staring and thinking. I decided upon my brown shorts and white off-shoulders loose tee and my brown boots. My mom last year had insisted on buying those boots. I never found a reason to wear them until today.

“Dad allowed. I’ll be coming” I messaged Leo.

“Great! So come by 7. Should I come to pick you up?” came his reply with his address attached to the message.

“No, I’ll be fine” I typed back.

“Cool, Sweets” he buzzed.

30 minutes up! One hour left!

After having a quick bath, I tip toed back to my bed where my clothes lay, trying not to get the floor wet. However, I left a trail of droplets of water that fall from the tips of my long brown hair. The strands of hair had stick together making me look like a drowned rat. I ran my fingers through the wet fringe, pushing it away from my face, whilst thinking about the clothes that lay in front of me. Had anyone asked me about wearing these clothes a month back, I would have laughed it out. Today, I chose them myself!

Oh, Leo! What have you done to me? I’ve changed so much since I met you.

I drop the towel from around me and I started to get changed. Once I was finished, I saw myself in the mirror of the dressing table to my left. I told you I was plump. But, even in those shorts, I look...

Umm, presentable.

My tee dropped off from my right shoulder showing my skin with my brown corduroy shorts that ended on my mid thighs and my boots covered most of my fat as the landed up till my knees. Oh! I love my boots now. I have to thank mom for making me buy them, I made a mental note. Everything fit me fine.

My hair was still damp of the bath. I blow-dried them and let them loose, falling on my shoulders. Better!

Quickly, taking into account the time that I read from the clock, I had 15 minutes left. It would take 5 minutes for me to reach his place, so I still had 10 minutes. I decided to tidy my room. I took my clothes that I had worn to college, from the floor and kept them in my laundry basket. I kept my bag in the cupboard. It hardly took me 2 minutes to do it. And again, I went to the mirror, looking at my reflection and thinking about Leo.

I hadn’t told anyone about me going to Leo’s party. Should I call Shags and tell her? No! Looking at the love Shags has for Leo, calling Shags is a bad idea. I should call up Sana!

I reached for my phone lying on the dressing table, and dialled her number.

“Hello” she said.

“Hey Sana, remember Leo? I told you about” I mumbled.

“How can I forget him! Tell me!” she sounded all excited to know.

“He invited me for his house party tonight and I am going” I squealed.

“Oh-My-Freaking-God! Are you serious!” she asked.

“Yes! I am!” I confirmed.

“He likes you! I’m telling you he likes you!”she said.

“No. I don’t think so. I don’t know. He is just too good for me. His looks angelic, his smile heavenly, his eyes chocolaty, his voice dreamy, in short he is perfect and I am clumsy, weird, squint, plump as I quote the fat. Me and him! He might have a pretty girlfriend with the hot ass.”  I mumbled in a single breath.
