Chapter 21: Strange things!

LAST CHAPTER RECAP

I missed Myth there. I knew he wouldn’t come because he had his important exams. But, I missed him. I missed him because I wanted to tell him how important he was and he would make me laugh.

To be honest, it was one of the best day of my life even though I was totally soaked and looked like a drowned rat, I totally, deeply, thoroughly enjoyed every second, every nano-second of it.

I love them. so much!

Chapter 21: Strange Things!

It was Monday and I was going to meet Leo after college like every other day. This had become my daily schedule now.

Have fun at College.

Then have some more fun with Leo.

It felt like I was meant for this. This life! Everything is perfect. I’m living my dreams!

After all those painful years I spent crying, I deserve all the happiness and Leo is certainly my happiness.

Every night before I slept, I got his good night message asking me to sleep because I had transformed into an owl after all those sleepless nights over years. But, all because of him, slowly I had started to regain my sleeping ability without the help of sedatives.

 Every morning his good morning messages reached my inbox before I would even open my eyes!

My dark circles were almost gone. The puffiness under my eyes was invisible now. I looked better than what I used too. At least, I thought so. I lost most of the fat that clung wastefully around me. This doesn’t mean that I had completely lost all that plumpness, it had just reduced. My chubby cheeks were very well defined now, because the dark caves under my eyes, that stole some of my cuteness (Yeah! I know, you’d think I’m too modest! Well, yes! That’s what I am), had almost disappeared.

Nothing unusual happened at college except that I learnt that my dear best friend Jaras had turned into a complete stalker. He had fallen in love with Raina (for forever). And that’s the same thing he said when he found a girl ‘cute’ and eventually had forgotten about having said or felt so!

He had a pattern of falling for girls. Short girls with big beautiful eyes and long curly hair, is all you need to make Jaras fall in love with you, forever (Oh yes! That’s a secret. If you have all the qualities I mentioned above and if you are single, Jaras is always ready to mingle).

Sana and Saish had developed a new ability of cracking silliest yet so very funny jokes. They made me laugh uncontrollably!

As soon as I reached the college gate, after all the lectures were over, I found the very familiar motorcycle parked outside. The silhouette that was leaning against the motorcycle looked breathtakingly sexy! God! Help me!

Breathe, Moya, Breathe!, I told myself.

I hugged good-byes to everyone and started walking towards my favourite silhouette that was waiting for me. I was just a step away, when he took one in my direction. He was incredibly close and I love it. His hands crept around my waist, I could still fell the ticklish feeling. But, I have my own comfort zone in his arms. His nose slightly brushed my shoulder, making the dinosaurs in my stomach go wild.

He, then, let me go but kept my hand in his, and gave me his sweetest smile. I definitely missed a heartbeat, but it was his heart that kept mine beating.

Cheesy!! I remarked at my thoughts.

If someone had said this pick-up line before I met Leo, I would have laughed my butt out on how cheesy it was, but look at me now! I’m saying stuff like this.
