Chapter 20: Saving Robin

I sat sitting face to face with Fury. "Novas all over the galaxy are being killed tommorrow, what is shield going to do about it" Sam said.

"Well I already called in the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, the Guardians of the Galaxy, X men and let's add alittle bit of howling comandos in that mix" Fury said.

"Aw you care about me that much?"  Sam asked. Fury made a face.

"No I'm serious, They might end blowing up the planet" I said.

"Prove it and I'll bring in more as well" he said.

"He called in other people right?" Jesse said.

"The guardians of the galaxy?" I asked. "Why them?"

"They know most about this space stuff then" Fury said.

"Who are the Guardians of the Galaxy?" Nathan asked

"You didn't read up on the Shield files?" Fury said.

"No because reading is for girls" Nathan said. I rolled my eyes.

"Good thing we have one. Cause boys are alliterate now" Jesse messed up my hair. The wall shook and a scream followed. We stopped, another bang that shook the room.

"Fury are you hiding more villains in your secret room?" I laughed. Fury glared.

"Control the specimen" he said into his watch. The scream intensified and another bang on the wall and then it died down

"Well I'll go visit Robin" Sam said.

"No, you mustn't, you can't, you just came out of the coma you can't fly" Fury said. "You will stay on this Helicarrier because we need all hands on deck" Fury said.

"It will be a quick drop" Sam said.

"She isn't a priority" he said.

"Isn't our mission to find her an get her. I found her and I'll see what I can do" Sam snapped.

"I could go. You do need your re-"

"Your mission is shut down for the month" Fury snapped.

"You're saying I can't see my best friend for a month" he said loudly.

"Well there is no friends on this ship" Fury said.

"Fury you aren't going to stop-" Sam.

"Sam.." I stopped him. Cause it pretty obvious were she is. I nodded towards him. He rolled his eyes and shoved my hand off his arm in annoyance.

"Riley, make sure he doesn't do anything stupid" Fury glared leaving. I slowly followed him. He wouldn't put her in the view able prison right?

"The infirmary." I shouted running back. I watched at Sam stuck his legs out the broken window. I knocked and he put his helmet on looking back at me.

"You can't stop me" he said. I hugged him from behind.

"You big idiot" I smiled putting my cheek to his back.

"I wanted to go with you" I laughed. "Robin is my friend as well"

"You stay here and find a way into that room, I'll make sure Robin isn't at the warehouse" He said pushing his body out the window.

He kissed my forehead. "Thanks, Fury can be an asshole" he said.

"And you can be a major asshole as well, but you know alls well that ends well" I smiled. He smiled back and flew off. I snuck back to Fury's office. I watched as he pressed a button and typed in a password.
