Chapter 40: Lucy Pillar

"You are annoying me" I hissed.

"We are just apologizing for your-" The council woman said.

"You don't understand. You forced me away fully endorsing the man who works with Hydra. You were sloppy and it almost costed me my life. There for, im done with you" I said walking out, I turned back to look at Fury who was smiling. "What?" I asked.

"So you're leaving shield huh?" He asked.

"Not really, I just don't have to listen to you all the time" I said. "I'll do my own thing and fight my own way, but when I'm needed I'll be back"

"Good! Because you're always welcomed here, now follow me " He said. He led me to Marcus who was taunting Flash. I smiled.

"This is yours!" Fury said handing me a box.

"Don't open it now, open it when you get to class" He said.

"What?" I mumbled taking a peak.

"I will make you do 500 laps around the island" He threatened.

"Oh! The island!" I said. I hopped into a jet and waited for Marcus. He struggled to get up and he grabbed the box.  I started up the jet and flew off the Helicarrier

After a few minutes of awkward silence and shifting around. I looked back to check on Marcus.

He was in a shield uniform and he was looking out the window a bit bored. "So you're doing the shield reform program. Thats nice." I smiled.

"Yeah some kid tricked me into it. I liked sleeping in my cell though. "I wanna fly the jet" he said turning his eyes towards me.

"Then when we land, take a class. Im still supervising. Don't make me give you a bad grade" I smirked.

"Fine" he said sternly. I landed on the island.

"Face the window I have to change" I said demanded. He sighed and turned around. I changed and stretched it out.

"Some new Stark technology" I said. I patted my stomach. "Man I haven't ran fully in like 4 days or something" I said.

"It's the middle of December? How are you not cold?" Marcus grumbed looking at my open stomach.

"Well it's hard to explain" I said. "Banner works with biology so he found out heat from the upper and lower half of your body, if heated it will heat your whole body" I traced the elastic rim of my top.

"Where the heat is generated"

"Going in" I said punching in a password. I walked in. I felt like a bad ass.

"Let me just remember which class I have" I said. "Quick silver?" I asked watching the silver haired man jog towards us

"Hey kiddo!" Pietro ruffled my hair. "Hey squirt" He said in a thick Slovakian accent.  "Where ya been?"

"Hydra" I said.

"Sounds fun. Did you bring back souvenirs?"

I point to my brother and he waved.

"Wait... Do I know you?" He asked.

"Probably." Marcus shrugged

"Don't you have a student?" I changed the subject.

"Well the newest student that took your place after you left- " he said.

"You guys replaced me that quickly?" I put my hand in my hip.
