Securing a connection to the Galloway's database is a pain in the ass without Grog or Phoenix here. They merely have to find the door and close it. I have to create a wall. I glance down at my percentage of data retrieval and grumble. Trying to maintain that wall and wait for Violet's contract is giving me a headache. Someone on this ship knows a bit about decryption. They are decent. I'm way better, but fighting off their meager attempts was getting on my last nerve.

Running out of options if I wanted her contract to read through, I did something overly drastic. I cut their mainstream. Well more like sent millions of little baby viruses all up and down the boulevard of their systems. It halted our progress but at least I got the document now. The yellow flashing lights above me made me question the security aboard this ship's computer system. I mean it shouldn't have taken out all their power.

The bang on the door was expected and the Captain screaming outside too predictable. I open it trying my best to look innocent and she grabs me by the back of the neck before forcing me crouching forward to the rig. Her boots angrily clonk on the metal flooring as she pushes me onward.

"Fix this," she growls at me and points to our ship's deadness in space as she shoves me into the rig. I look at the mass amount of darkness around us as I shift my weight standing upright again. Then, I glance down at the rainbow dressed girl again. She grumbles with a visor of her own on now looking like she is swatting at the little virus bugs instead of decoding.

"What could possibly have been so important that you couldn't let me see," she grumbles.

"Official documents from my company," I shrug. "If you hadn't tried to interfere this wouldn't have happened."

"Your company," she argues throwing the visor off and glaring at me. Her eyes were black as coal and around it was a cream color where most had white. It made me shiver slightly before realizing she was blind. "That's your daddy's company. You aren't even on the payroll."

"So you saw what I was downloading," I cross my arms as if confirming her interference.

"Only where you traveled, son," the girl argues pointing in my general vicinity. "Help me get rid of the viruses and get back to your room."

"I'll help you get rid of them," I uncross my arms heading to the main database at the rig. "If I have your word you will stay out of my business in the future."

"Like that will happen," the girl argues and the Captain grunts. "Fine, but you warn me ahead of time that you are going to use your Comm Unit you hear. All I got was a security breach up here. I didn't know what was going on. Two small bits of data pinged off, one right after the other, as if they were a bat out of hell."

"Perhaps you should change the password then," I mock and the girl glares at me before throwing her visor back on. Two bits of data. Could that possibly be Grog and Phoenix? "It is a simple June Bug Application."

"June Bug Application," she mocks in a whiny voice before altering her attack and clearing them in one swift motion. She was familiar with it after all. The ship buzzes back to life and the speakers click with various people's protest of disturbance. Claudia flicks them off before glaring back at me. She was beyond angry.

"Mess with my ship again, boy, and I will space you," she jabs her finger into my Peck muscle and I can't help the amusement from dancing in my eyes. "I don't care if you are a Galloway!"
