"Check this out," Jon yelled as he charged into the guest room without knocking.
Pierce groaned as he captured the sheets and pulled them over our heads. Jon ignored this and pulled on a small blue cube expanding it across the one bare wall and pushed a button on a small remote. The volume increased and soon mumbles became a news reporter.
"I can't believe this," screamed a familiar voice. I sat up in bed quickly causing Pierce's arm to fly over and smack itself on the side of the bed. He cursed out in pain. "You will regret this. That little *beep* isn't going to be able to bring half the *beep* publicity and money to the school as I could."
I stared at a very frazzled and upset Ducky on the screen. He adjusted his jacket and ran his fingers through the tangle of hair. It stuck up in gravity defying ways. Did he just wake up himself? He pulled out a piece of paper and shoved it out.
"See that," he yelled. "You are not the only school out there. This one wants me to join its roster. This is not the last you will see of me." He turned and walked through a rather nice front door to a really large mansion. He slammed it with a glass shattering force and continued walking. Security covered the area pushing the media back.
"What's this about," I asked Jon looking worried. He rolled his eyes and pointed to the wording at the bottom. I read it and shook my head. I read it again. "I got the scholarship?"
Pierce sat up in shock. He glanced at the screen and then back at me.
"I got the scholarship?!" I climbed up and jumped across the bed to Jon in excitement. I flew off and embraced him in a hug. My cheers and smiles never ceased the entire time. "I got the scholarship!"
Pierce pulled himself off the bed looking down at the sheets in disappointment. He placed a hand on my pillow as if I would rematerialize. He walked over to me slowly and I couldn't help but notice the frown on his face. I stopped and raised an eyebrow at him.
"Pierce?"
"Congratulations, Violet," he grumbled before turning and leaving the room. Mrs. Galloway burst through as he left.
"You got it," she shrilled and I couldn't help but shrill along with her. "We have to go shopping!"
I stopped. Shopping? Oh no.

Five long hours later, Mrs. Galloway got yet another poor employee to carry the bags upon bags of clothes to the car. I groaned as she pulled me into yet another store. She smiled and giggled like a school girl getting her first wink from the bad boy.
"I always wanted to have a little girl to shop for," Mrs. Galloway said as she gestured to me. Jon smiled beside her. I rolled my eyes.
"At what point are we going to shop for me," I questioned. Mrs. Galloway stopped and smirked.
"Sorry doll, school uniforms," Mrs. Galloway informed before turning back to a pair of black heels. I groaned. I hadn't noticed the uniforms before when I worked there. I guess it never crossed my mind.
