The 'game' had been going on for 3 days straight. I've gone 3 days without hearing Michael talk.
Well, talk to me. It's not like he just completely cut contact with the boy's until I talked to him.
Honestly though, it was torture.
Luke and Calum hadn't noticed it yet, which was incredibly surprising given that it's been 3 days.
Another exciting thing, though, is Calum and Margo finally made it official that they're dating, which made me immensely happy but also super jealous.
They'd been with each other less than me and Michael, and they were already together. I guess it showed how much they liked one another, though.
Them dating meant that Calum was either out of the house all the time, or Margo was in our house, just not with me. I'd just become the third wheel.
"Cas, Michael, Calum, come down here!," Luke called from downstairs.
All 3 of us exited our rooms, meeting Luke in the living room where he was smiling ear-to-ear.
"Okay, I have exciting news."
"Spit it out, then," Calum urged.
"I think I know who my Soulmate is!"
"Okay . . who?"
"She's this cashier at the grocery store. We really hit it off and it turns out we got our gray hair at the same time."
"Have you met her before, though?," I asked.
He nodded. "Once, I think. Like a month ago. Either way this is so exciting! I won't die alone!"
Luke rushed forward and pulled us all into a group hug, which we couldn't avoid since he was larger than all of us.
"Luke . . I can't breathe," Michael sputtered.
He released us, straightening out his shirt and giving us the familiar large grin. "Okay, that's all I needed. I just needed to get it out. You can go now."
Calum wanted to know more about the cashier (if he's ever flirted with her before Margo), so he stayed with Luke.
So, unfortunately, Michael decided to walk up the stairs in front of me, really fucking slowly.
I pushed his back and he stumbled on the step, turning around to meet my smirk with a glare before running up the rest of the way.
My phone buzzed in my pocket as soon as we retreated to separate rooms.
