He had enough.
He had enough of seeing Altamash happy.
He deserved all the pain and misery of this world and yet he's the most happiest.
The glass cracked in his bruising hold. His jaw set in a straight line. He was so angry, so furious, he wanted to march and kill Altamash with his own bare hands. Snatch every thing or person he has had ever hold dear.
He has someone who he cares for.
Longs for.
The person Altamash is desperately in love with.
His wife.
His Zainab.
A sinister smile scorned his lips. Oh how much he would enjoy playing with that little bird. He would slowly break her wings, crush her dreams of flight and slowly, he will watch her wither and die.
While her husband, Altamash watches.
A deep satisfaction filled his bones. Oh how much Altamash would suffer. All the pain he ever inflicted on her, he would pay tenfold.
It was time.
Time to do what he spent years planning for.
It's time.
Time for....revenge.

Shutting the door close, Zainab walked inside to see her doctor. She knocked the door and opened it after a millisecond. The same old clinical walls welcomed her. The same chair, the same table and the same view.
The only thing that changed?
She was feeling way lot better than she did on her last visit.
The last time she was here, she was hysterical. Angry, sad and grief ridden.
Now she wasn't those things.
She was only...scared and ashamed and confused. She didn't even know if that was better or worse. And that's why she was here after cancelling a tons of appointments.
"You're early, Zainab."
The doctor's voice broke her chain of thoughts and she replied
"Yeah, I figured it would be best not to waste any more of your time."
The doctor smiled knowingly, still she politely told her to take a seat. Grabbing a pen from the wooden holder from the desk, the doctor sat on the huge sofa with her leg crossed over another.
"So, has there been any change in your condition?"
Zainab's hand were playing with the bracelet tied on her wrist. The one Altamash gave her.
"Yes."
"Are your medications doing good?"
"I'm not taking them anymore."
The doctor's eyes clashed with her. A worried glimpse in them.
"I know I shouldn't have, but I...I just didn't want to be on them. At least for a while."
The playing intensified. Her leg kept bouncing. She was growing agitated. She needed to let it out.
"Well, I think you shouldn't be off your medication until...."
"I know that. Can we just...?"
She abruptly stood from her place and started pacing. Her reaction got the doctor's attention on her.
"I have something to tell you."
Zainab sat back down again. Her face ashen and thoughts spiralling. The doctor stayed silent. A silent approval to go forward.
