There was something about you
That now I can't remember
It's the same damn thing
That made my heart surrender.....

Zainab sat beside her father. The morning sun creeping inside the room, casting it's warmth upon both of them. Dressed in a plain yellow suit, she'd been sitting by her father's side for over an hour. First it was to only talk to him. To share with him how she was feeling about the whole situation-ship she was thrown in. She poured her heart out to her father. Telling him every little thing that happened with her in the time being. It was a way to rant to him about her feelings.

She didn't know if he even heard her, but she needed it to be said.

Grabbing his hand, she whispered her words into his skin

"I promise to find whoever did this you."

Placing his hand back, she quietly stood up and adjusted the blanket on his body. After standing straight, she stared at her father, in a hope that miraculously he would wake up. Look at her with those stern eyes of him.

Oh but it was wishful thinking.

He hadn't been showing any signs of deterioration, but he also didn't improve also.

A resigned sigh escaped her lips before she walked back outside with a dejected heart.

Zainab was walking back to her room when she heard a commotion in the living room. Her brows furrowed and her steps detoured. What she found the source were Narmeen, Safa, Mehreen and Natalia. They were talking animatedly with Jaweria and Ghazala.

"OH MY GOD!!!"

Mehreen squealed at the sight of Zainab and literally ran toward her to wrap her in the most tight-est hug known to mankind. A small chuckle escaped Zainab's lips as she embraced the excited girl. Pulling away, Mehreen beamed in excitement

"I'm so happy. You don't know how happy you've made me."

Zainab looked at everyone and the sight of their happy faces made guilt stab her heart.
