I still can't seem to explain nor fathom, where all my love for you came from, it's as if i was grazed by a stray bullet that came absolutely nowhere, striking and surprising me from behind.
If this is what it means to be in love with you then I'd be glad to welcome them with arms wide open, for love is pain and misery but it can be beautiful and compelling as well, which so happened that I have found with you. I have endlessly been retrospecting since the day we met, the very day that I have been in love with you ever since.
My whole life I have never thought of holding my pen and writing my heart out of a man, that I can simply waste hundreds of pages, countless amounts of ink cartridges and it still wouldn't be enough to express my love and admiration for you. For you fill the sky with beautiful cloud formations, the sea, with calm waves, and the ground with beautiful stems of roses and tulips.
It's never a dull moment with you, as your mere existence simply fills my soul and I am very lucky to have stumbled upon your path.
I truly adore and admire you very well and there is nothing in this world that I can ever hope for, but to ask for your hand, if it's willing to hold mine for as long as we're together, to ask your heart not to love me as much as I do you, but to keep beating as long as I love you, to ask of your body not because it can please me or fulfill lust and desire, but to ask your body, as a vessel of hope that I can embrace on my deepest and darkest days, And lastly to ask your soul, not because I plan to keep it locked and keyed, but to ask your soul to see the best in me no matter the circumstances that the darkness of life and this world brings.
So here I am today, in front of you or by your side, completely off-guard, transparent and vulnerable. At this very moment, I ask of you to be mine to hold, embrace, be cared for and loved truly with every cell of my being. I may not posses all the good qualities and personalities in life but I hope loving you with what I have and can do in my power makes up for those in absence.
I will endlessly continue to strive to be deserving of you entirely. This is my life and I will fall for you everyday as you make me whole and my heart beats for you tirelessly without skipping a single beat, I swear on gods green earth that as long as I live and exist, you will always be loved unconditionally.
And I don't want to remember how we ended.
