You can speak dog???

Aaron's pov

    Whisper looked giddy as my eyes widened and my knees felt all wobbly. Whaaaaa. I looked her in the eyes as if to see any reason behind her words. All I could see was the look of pure happiness and what seemed to be amusement. I don't really know. I smiles slightly but then everything registered in my head.
    "What do you mean you can communicate with animals? Like you can speak dog??? Or like understand their movements? What? When? How??" I said pretty much all at once. After my little rant of questions I had to slow down my pace in everything and looked at her face as she stared at me. As she started speaking I almost couldn't believe the words she was saying.
"Well I know every animal language known to man. Hedgehogs, sloths, pigs, you name it. I can speak it and understand everything perfectly. I mean it's like speaking English just different to everyone around me. It's always been like this. Ever since I was young. When I was born and brought home for the first time I met our family mouse, Cracker, and she gave me the best welcome than everyone else and there were a lot of people there," she chuckled a bit and sat down on the ground as her animals surrounded her," and it was wherever I went. Any animal I came across. Conversations here and there. Everywhere I would meet new animals and just become fascinated at this gift I had, although at the time I thought everyone could talk to animals even though my parents just thought I was weird. I had to go to doctors and therapists up until I was in 8th grade. It was horrible. I was treated as if I was crazy. I know it probably seemed that way but everyone was out to get me and barely let me explain without giving me a diagnosis that would never do me any good. So yeah I'm gonna end it there. I can talk to and understand animals." She said as she looked down to her lap where her wolf pup had crawled into when she was talking and pet him softly.
I looked between her and the pup and before I could say anything the pup started barking quickly while pawing at her face as if to wipe the eyeliner off her eyes. This is when I realized she was crying. Oh lawd I'm such a bad mate! She's fucking crying and I'm sitting here like an idiot! I stood up from my spot on the floor that I had taken when she did and walked over to her in the few little steps I could take. She looked up at me slightly and smiled as I sat behind her and hugged her back, pressing my face to the back of head. I sniffed her hair, mhmm nice. I don't even know what it is but it smells quite pleasant.
I could hear her sniffling a bit and felt her arm move up to her face to wipe away the remaining tears but I beat her to it and kissed her cheek.
    "Thank you for being here. I know I'm being a bit emotional but thank you for not leaving yet." She smiled at me with her head tilted to the side and a slight blush on her cheeks. I smiled shyly.
    "No need to thank me. I will always be here for you no matter what. I know we just met but I want to be here with you. I want to be the perfect mate to you and make sure you are spot and safe at all times." I said taking her hand in mine and looked her in the eyes. Her eyes were shining but then filled with confusion.
    "Mate? What's that? I mean I know you are my friend but no one is perfect so you can't be the perfect mate? The only person close to that is Seth haha" she looked forward as all of her pets sat in front of her and started talking all at once as she looked at them. Ohh yeah I forgot she doesn't know what a mate is. Well she could have but I don't know. She's human.
    "I'll explain what a mate is later but let's just say mates in werewolf logic aren't exactly friends but friends plus way way more." She looked at me as I said this and nodded her cute little head and turned her attention back on her pets as I played with her hair. It's so soffffffttttf.
     Whisper made all sorts of animal noises as she had conversations with all of them and laughed so much that I found myself almost laughing at her happiness. I really need to learn their names. Her animals just won't work forever. All of a sudden there were two taps on the front door which had still been unlocked due to the fact that I only merely pushed it closed when we walked inside.
"Come in!" Whisper somewhat shouted as all of the animals quieted down but seemed to be in a good mood. They probably know who's at the door. Before the door even opened I growled at the person and as it opened I stood up and brought Whisper up with me.
As Mr.Sail/Seth walked through the black door, Whisper ran over to him and hugged him while wrapping her legs around his torso and all of the animals ran over to them both and started being what seemed to be happy and excited. What the hell? Even the animals seemed to like him. Damn. Looking at the two of them I could feel my eyes get darker as well as my image and growled loudly trying not to get to close. Wouldn't want to have a battle now would we? I thinks not. That was weird! What am I thinking. Whatever.
    They both looked at me and Whisper hopped off of him and looked at me sheepishly. I walked over to her and hugged her from behind. Looking up at Seth I could see the happiness in his eyes which confused the hell out of me.
"Bella! You never told me the new kid and you were so close! Gah about time you found yourself a guy!" He exclaimed as he flailed his arms around and looked at her. She smiled and giggles childishly which was so fucking adorable just awhhhhh.
"Well I just met him today but I mean he seemed cool enough and he's a werewolf! How fucking fabulous is that?!" She said back excitedly but not as much as him. I glanced between the two of them as I stood up straight but kept my arm around her. Wait why would she tell him that? She must trust him a lot. That thought got me angry a bit but I mean I just met her let me hear what she has to say when he leaves. Seth looked at me surprised but then smiled and shook the other hand that wasn't wrapped around Whispers shoulder. I gave him a look of confusion but all he did was wink and proceeded to fold him arms over his broad chest.
"That's awesome. Just make sure you don't hurt Bella or I will sick my boyfriend on you. He's a werewolf too and will kick your ass." Seth said as he chuckled. I could hear Whisper scold him quickly but smile. Well at least she cares about me.
"Speaking of Ryan, where is the big glamor fairy?" Whisper asked as she looked at him expectingly. All of that time I hadn't even realized the animals had moved and were no longer in the front room but I could hear them scurrying around in different places of the house in which I had not yet explored.
"He's at home but I could call him and ask if he can come over if you want." Seth said as he relaxed his body and closed the door slowly. Whisper was quiet for a moment but then smiled and looked like she had the most brilliant idea.
"No I dot want to bother him but call me when you get home and let me ask him if I can come over later and bring Owen. You know he loves Owen haha." She said as she leaned into my side and shooed Seth out of the door. He laughed loudly and agreed to this, opening the door and stepping out. As he walked out to his run down Honda, he turned around and waved to us. Whisper closed the door as he sped away and turned to me.
"Well that was fun. Well I should go and start cooking for tonight. Shouldn't you be going now?" Whisper said as she stepped out from under my arm and walked towards the room connected to the front room which I would assume is the kitchen. I frowned and followed her.
"I wanted to stay and get to know you though." I pouted slightly as she walked over to the fridge and looked around before looking over at me.
"Well we have school tomorrow so how about we just get to know each other tomorrow? I have to cook and then I'm going over to Seth's. But I can text you tonight if you want. But please leave. I like cooking alone." She said as she looked at me, closing the fridge. She didn't grab anything but I'm sure she was just waiting for me to leave. I didn't want to leave but I know I'm being a bit creepy just wanting to stay in her house but I will get her phone number. Yaya! I nodded reluctantly as she grabbed a pen from the nearby kitchen table and wrote down her digits.
"Thank you for understanding. I'll see you tomorrow and you can just text me tonight," she walked me to the door and opened it for me," I hope you have a good night." She smiled at me as she gently guided me outside. Well that was fast. But wait didn't we take my car
here?
     "But what about your car? Didn't we drive here in my car?" I asked her as I
only saw my car parked outside of her house. She looked at the car and then back at me and made a whatever hand gesture.
     "I skateboard to school. I don't have a car." Oh. That makes sense. But isn't it kind of far?!? Damn!
    "Well I'll pick you up for school tomorrow alright? I don't want you to have to skateboard that entire way. Besides I don't even think you put your skateboard in my car." She looked startled but nodded and grinned before waving goodbye and closed the door. Wow rude much. No she's probably just in a hurry.
   Wait! I never got to answer any questions about why she lives alone or who Seth is to her. At least I know he has a boyfriend and not after my mate. I'll just ask her tomorrow.
     I looked down at my hand and smiled at the neat little numbers lined up on the top of my left hand. I can't wait to get home and text her. I better get home fast. My parents are probably worried. Shit I forgot to call them. Eh I'll do that on the way. I can't wait for tomorrow.
