Prom...

"And the prom queen is..." The principal spoke, "(YN)!"
You were chosen for prom queen! It was a huge surprise, but a wonderful one at that.
You stepped onto the stage to receive your crown and waited to find out who the prom king was.
"The prom king is..." You really hoped it was Josh, your prom date. It would be perfect! "Niall Horan!" Everyone cheered, Niall was your best friend so you were really happy but you kind of felt bad for Josh, you had come with him after all.
"Now its time for the traditional prom king and queen's slow dance."
Niall took your hand, and led you to the dance floor. The music began to play and Niall placed his hand on your waist and you placed your hand on his shoulder.
The music began to play and your eyes met with his crystal blue ones, never had you ever felt like this, especially with Niall. The song was slow which made everything just more romantic. You laid your head on his shoulder as he tightened his grip on your waist.
Everything was just felt right, the whole school was watching but you didn't care, Niall and you were dancing and nothing could be more perfect.
His smell was intoxicating which only made you want to hug him even tighter. Just as the song was about to end, Niall looked into your eyes and you into his. He leaned in, and so did you. His lips were so soft, so sweet, so perfect. Everyone began to cheer and clap, which caused you both to pull away. You laid your forehead on his, and he looked into your eyes with one of his wonderful smiles. "I love you..." Coming out of Nialls mouth made every word even more meaningful.
