Second Thoughts...

6 years, the best six years of my life.
The day I met Niall I could tell that he would be a huge part of my life and he has, he's been my best friend, my partner in crime, my first love and my longest boyfriend.
Not only has he made an impact in my life he has totally changed it.
People change people.
*FLASHBACK*
"(YN), you are the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. We've been through so much and I can't wait to go through so much more with you. Princess, will you do me the greatest honor of marrying me?" How could I say no to that man.
"Yes" he picked me up and I honestly couldn't be happier. I was going to marry the love of my life.
*FLASHBACK OVER*

I was getting married in less than 8 weeks, it all happened so fast and it was all barely beginning to set in I was getting married.

"(YN)!! Would you listen to me please?" Lou, my best friend spoke.
"Yeah! I'm sorry I was zoning out " I said
"Yeah I kind of noticed. What's wrong?" She asked as she placed her hand on my forearm
"Um. I'm not sure. I mean I remember six years ago I had so many goals I wanted to accomplish, I wanted to travel the world, I wanted to do so much, yet here I am, six years later, and I haven't done any of that. I mean ever since I met Niall, my whole life has revolved around him. I feel as though I kind of forgot about my self on the way. I'm not blaming him I'm just disappointed in myself. " I just had to tell someone
"I know you're afraid, I understand, but you can still do all those things when you're married." She encouraged
"Yeah, I guess you're right."

"Babe?" Niall spoke as he walked through the front door
"Up here!" I yelled from our bedroom.
I heard his foot steps as he jogged up the stairs
"Hey." He smiled as he stepped into the room
"Hey there, handsome." I winked, causing him to chuckle
He strode over to my side of the bed to give me a peck on the lips
"8 weeks!" He smiled into the kiss
"Yeah...8 weeks" I said a lot less enthusiastically than he did
"Is everything okay?" He asked concerned
"Of course, just can't believe its almost here." I tried to cover up the fact that I was freaking out
"I know, time flies in a wink of an eye." He leaned in once again,
"I love you." He said before giving me a passionate kiss.
The taste of his lips was intoxicating and addicting.
"Love you too."
He leaned over to turn off his lamp and we both went to sleep.
"Goodnight!" He whispered into my ear
"Night." I said back
How could he be so carefree? He was acting like it was nothing, when in reality it's a life changing experience. Something that should not be taken lightly, its marriage we're talking about, for crying out loud!
