Niall's POV

I opened my eyes to a bright room, cringing at the thought of having to start the day. I let my hand fall to my side hoping to wake up my beautiful wife but was met with nothing but empty space.

I swung my legs over the side of the bed as I sat up. I began to pick out a voice coming from the bathroom, knowing with all certainty that it was (YN). I couldn't help the smile that crept onto my face just imagining her doing that little dance whenever she sang Temporary Fix.

As I walked to the bathroom I saw her putting on her makeup with so much precision and carefulness, making sure nothing was messed up. It was actually kind of cute even though she didn't need any of it, but as she always said, "You wouldn't understand."

(YN) POV

I was in the middle of placing the finishing touches on my makeup when rough fingers made their way around my waist causing my breath to hitch at the sudden contact. I was soon brought in tight, my back against a bare chest. As I looked up into the mirror I was met with the most gorgeous blue eyes.

Even after 5 years of being together, its amazes me the effect he has on me from a simple look.

"Morning beautiful." He smiled as he placed his chin on my shoulder.

"Good morning handsome!" I smiled as I turned around to give a proper good morning by placing my lips on his in a sweet kiss.

"Why are you getting ready?" He whispered as he hid his face in the crook of my neck. His cool breath hitting my warm skin, managing to create goosebumps.

"We were going to go out for lunch, don't tell me you forgot!" I responded playfully

"Me forget? What? No!" He smirked as he pulled me in tighter a loud groan escaping his lips, "Can we...maybe... Stay in today?" He pleaded carefully

"Mmmm? Fine. I mean it has been a long time. I guess I wouldn't mind spending the day in the same house as you." I teased

"Oh please. You want to, really!" He scoffed bringing me in for another tight embrace. His hands made their way down to my bum to give it a squeeze before I could stop him.

"Niall!" I yelped surprised, but he was already out of the bathroom and into the bedroom

"I'm sorry!" I could here him laughing
"No you're not!" I yelled back

"I know." He chuckled

I smiled at the dork I was lucky enough to call my husband, he could be a pain in the butt sometimes, but I loved him none the less.

"Don't go in there! No-ugh I told you!" I turned to my right to see an amused Niall. "What?" I asked

"You're just to cute!" He smiled

"Awe thanks babe! You're not so bad yourself." I responded playfully

He raised his hand to his chest, as if he was offended, "I am amazing! What do you mean 'not so bad'"

"Yeah. Sure, I guess..." I pushed a little more

I was soon pushed onto my back and was straddled by Niall, "admit it! I'm amazing! Cmon say it with me."

I couldn't help but laugh at how cute he was being over this. I realized I wouldn't win so I decided I would give in. "Fine. You're amazing!"

"See. Now was that so hard?" He asked as he slowly got off of me

"Yes. Now can we eat now?" I pleaded

Instead of answering my question Niall ran into the kitchen to serve himself a slice of pizza. I soon ran after him to try and steal some of his food since I knew that drove him crazy!

"Come and lay down with me!" I called him over

"Awe does little (YN) want to snuggle?" He cooed in a little baby voice as he joined me in bed

I chuckled at the use of the baby voice yet found it adorable.

"She would." I pouted, playing along with the baby voice

All he did was chuckle as he placed the douvet over the both of us, getting comfortable.

"We're so weird!" I whispered into the darkness

"I know" he whispered back

"And you're okay with that?" I smiled as I looked into his eyes

"100%!" He intertwined his lips with mine as we cuddled until we feel into our deep slumber.
