"What?" You asked, a shy smirk tugging at your lips when you noticed Niall staring at you.

You were working on some homework on your laptop while he caught up on the latest derby game.

A smile grew on his lips as he let out a low chuckle.

" 'm sorry. You're just so beautiful." He scratched the nape of his neck, a habit of his when he was embarrassed

You couldn't help the blush that crept all over your skin, he just had that effect on you.

"Stop!" You complained playfully

"I'm being serious." his smile grew but he tried to hide it as his gaze was now focused on his lap. Keeping you from seeing those gorgeous eyes of his.

"I'm not beautiful!" You continue

"You so are! The way your hair cascades perfectly down your shoulders. The way your eyes sparkle, your laugh! God your laugh! I could listen to it for the rest of my life. " He sighs, "The way you choose to see the good in everyone, not acting on prejudice. The way you are kind to every single person you encounter! The list goes on, you are beautiful." Silence fills the room as you process the words that just escaped his lips.

You stood up, setting your laptop aside and heading to his side of the couch. You took the empty seat next to him, your legs folding underneath you.

"Can I tell you something?" You spoke softly into his ear

His smile grew even wider as he nodded, motioning for you to continue.

"You're beautiful too."
