Conor Maynard is one of my new loves lol. If you haven't listened to his song "This is my version" YOU ARE MISSING OUT! Huge hit...

.

(Niall's POV)

"You'll call me right?" She asked, her hands around my neck.

I looked up at her and instead of replying with words I connected my lips with hers. Nothing.

It was always nothing. No connection, no feelings. She was probably the fifth girl I had hooked up with in a matter of 7 days.  All one night stands.

Never lied to them though. I never promised I would call back, I just couldn't. Instead I kissed them goodbye, of course they didn't realize that.

And just like that I would walk through that door, goodbye to another nameless face.

.

I arrived at my apartment in what felt like seconds later, my life had become some sort of sped up movie and I just had no idea how to slow it down.

My feet led the way to my dark bedroom, its gray walls resembled those of my heart, both dull and cold.

I slid my shoes off followed by my jeans and tshirt, soon being engulfed by the warm cover, comfort filling my body. This was my safety place, the one spot where I could forget about the whole world and just focus on one thing, her.

"I can't anymore." She whispered

"You can't what?" I seethed

"This. Us. Niall, I just can't. You go out every night, getting wasted, not even caring that I worry. I worry about your safety, you never tell me where you're going, I end up finding out because one of the boys tells me." She began walking towards the bedroom, I was quick to follow. The conversation was not over.

"Why do you have to know where I am all the time, stop being a clingy bi***!" I regretted that as soon as I said it

She didn't respond, all she did was continue to pack.

"Where do you think you're going?" I asked. A lot louder than I intended to

I reached for her but all she did was flinch away. Zipping up her suit case and walking out of the bedroom.

"(YN)!" I yelled for her

"I don't know Niall. I'll figure that on my own. Why do you even care? You should be happy you're getting rid of this clingy bi***!" I saw a single tear slip down her flushed cheek.

"I- I didn't mean that. I'm drunk---"

"That's always your excuse isn't it?!" She stood silent for a moment, waiting to see what I had to say.

I didn't say anything, how could I? She was right.

"Have a nice life Niall." She whispered just before she walked out. Out of my life and there was nothing I could do about it, I saw how much she was hurting and I couldn't believe how blind I was. She was never coming back and it was all my fault.

I reached for my phone, giving up on sleep.

4:06 am.

I ran a hand over my face as I let an exasperated sigh pass through my lips.

I was crap, my life was crap, all because I didn't have her.  She had her reasons, very good ones at that. All I did was hurt her, but I couldn't help but be selfish and want her back.

.

"Oi, mate why not?" Deo asked

"I'm not feeling it tonight. You go, have fun. Ill catch ya later yeah?"

"I can always come over. Are you alright?" He asked

"I'm fine, really!" I insisted

"Alright mate. Talk to ya another time."

"Bye" I hung up the phone.

Normally I would be the first one in line when it came to going clubbing and having a few pints but something stopped me. I wasn't really sure what it was but I felt it in my gut.

I walked around my apartment looking at its current messy state. (YN) would have scorned me for having it so unorganized.

I shut my eyes, mentally slapping myself for remembering her.

It had been a couple days without thinking of her. A record in my book.

I used to think that getting wasted passed no return and getting it in with some random girl would help me get over her but it never worked.

The morning after, not only would I be extremely hungover but I would also regret it all.

Months of the same pathetic routine, nothing changed, I would always end up alone in my bed the next day.

I couldn't help how much I missed her. I really thought she was the one but I lost her. It was all my fault.

My eyes stung with the tears that threatened to fall. Anger suddenly filling my system. I was mad at myself for being such a f**k up.

I low sob escaped my mouth as my chest clenched in agony. It all hovered over me. All the conversations, all the fights, all the kisses, all the laughs. Her image haunted me day and night and I was just too stubborn to admit it.

I slowly fell to my knees as her name softly slipped passed my tongue.

As if on que my phone began to ring, it was her.

Fumbling a bit I managed to click the green button, accepting her call.

"(YN)!" I spoke breathless. She was quiet for a moment before she began to speak.

"Niall, hey..."

You guys can think of the rest...
