You Are My Necessity...

Today was way too long. But we finally finished our next two singles at the studio. I just can't wait to get home and fall into the much needed slumber.
As I parked my car in the drive way I noticed the living room light on. I looked down at my wrist watch and noticed the time. It was 2 in the morning, I sudden wave of guilt washed over me, for being the reason (YN) stayed up late at night.
As I walked in, I placed the keys on the table, and walked to the couch, where (YN) was laying down asleep.
I slowly and carefully picked her up bridal style and carried her up the stairs leading to our bedroom.
"Ni?" She whispered half way there
"Shhh-sshh babe just go back to sleep." I responded
As I laid her back onto the mattress she pulled me down with her, "You know I missed you?" She asked as she snuggled into the crook of my neck
"I missed you too princess, just glad I'm here now." I said as I stroked her soft cheek
Just like that she fell into a deep sleep.
I didn't feel like moving so I tried my best to take off my jeans and tuck us both into bed without waking her.

The next morning I was woken up by the smell of chocolate chip pancakes cooking downstairs by the best cook in the whole world, my wife.
"Hey beautiful." I said as I wrapped my arms around her waist.
"Good morning handsome." She replied
I began to peck up and down her neck, becoming intoxicated with the feel and taste of her skin. Everything about this girl drew me in. Everything about her made me want more, everything about (YN) made me need her.
"Ni stoooppp, your going to make me burn the pancakes..." She giggled
"Let them burn." I whispered into her ear
As I turned her so she could face me I was met with her eyes, immediately caught in her trance.
As I looked deeper into her gorgeous eyes I could see the love she had for me, the same love I was sure she could see in mine.
"What?" She caught onto me starring
"Um," I coughed, "I was just thinking about how lucky I am to have you.
It is such a privilege being able to kiss you," I said as I pecked her lips, "to be able to hold you in my arms. I can't imagine my life without you (YN). You make everyday a million times better and I swear I would be nothing if I didn't have you by my side." I kissed her lips once more, cupping her cheek, making her look into my eyes, so she knew I was telling the whole truth, "you are my necessity." I whispered before reconnecting lips.
