random question + rant

While reading the Bible i notice how a lot of verses and passages talk about how as believers and disciples we should never sin again. Now after researching, i know that the writers know that we all sin everyday and cant stop, cuz we're not perfect like Jesus, so im guessing them saying stuff like this is kinda like a figure of speech? Idk how to describe it while typing so im gna js rant on voice note:

it's like this thing like yes we all know we're human. We will sin every day cause we're not perfect like Jesus, but even though we're doing this, we should still strive to be like Jesus and like, of course not be let down by our mistakes cause then they also say that like we confess, we repent, Jesus cleanses and saves us. so maybe they're just saying like try your best not to fall into temptation; so practically be sinless. and even Jesus says this in the Bible. like somewhere in the Bible he says like "be sinless like I am sinless" or "be perfect like how I am perfect" something like that but also Jesus knows that we're not perfect so maybe this is just like an encouragement for us to strive to be like Jesus as best as we can, I guess

"John encouraged the believers to obey Godʼs commands. They could do this because they had won the spiritual fight over the world. This meant that Jesus had set them free from the control of the devil. The devil controls the world by keeping people slaves to sin. Believers have faith in Jesus and believe that he has set them free. That is why Godʼs children donʼt keep sinning again and again on purpose. If they do this it becomes sin that leads to death. This means that people choose to continue sinning and refuse to receive life from Jesus. Instead, Godʼs children pray and are forgiven by God."

But anyways, let me get to my main point. I feel like that can confuse a lot of people who are who are reading the Bible and like they could be like I don't know. I feel like maybe that's like turned some people away cause they're like "oh I can't be perfect like this. This is too hard . This is too hard of an ask for me. I can't be perfect. I can't be sinless" and like maybe that misunderstanding it could turn people away from the Bible so like this is just another reason why it's so important to do your research on the Bible not just like history but like also like Topics and like trying to really get what the author of the book whatever book you're reading in the Bible, trying to get what they're saying cause like I don't know sometimes they use lots of figurative language or not sometimes they're being like totally real but they're also like using something as an example And some people take it too literally. I guess it's basically like how those people were saying to Jesus when he said, "take my body and blood eat and drink of" in the Bible they are like "oh why are you asking us to do that? That's disgusting" or something? I think that happened in the Bible I don't remember, but yeah main point is a lot of stuff can be misinterpreted in the Bible so it's important to do your research.
