The next day, we had classes, and it was during my lunch break when I decided to make a visit to Ken's department. I wanted to visit him because I was getting those weird urges around Alex especially since I had a class with him later that afternoon. Anyway, rumor has it they bring food to the department, so I brought some food for Ken. It wasn't normally allowed, but they do it anyway. I walked past the cubicles and onto their stations. I saw Ken doing some work on his computer. He was typing some article or something. I never actually thought he could be a photographer and a journalist at the same time.

"Hey there." I approached him. He turned to me and was a bit surprised.

"Liyah!" he exclaimed. "What a surprise! What are you doing here?"

"Nothing." I placed the plastic bag with the takeout food on his desk. "I brought lunch."

"Wow." He held the plastic bag and peeked inside. "You shouldn't have!"

"Well, I know my boyfriend's crazy busy, so I just wanted to bring him food." I smiled.

"Aw, thanks, Liyah." He placed the bag on his desk. "I'm really sorry about this whole thing. It's just hard for me to balance my job, my relationship, and my studies."

"No, it's good." I laughed. "I didn't bring it so you'd feel like you're effortless. I don't mind that you're busy, but maybe we could spend some time even just once in a while."

"Okay. That's great." He said. "I promise, after all of this is done, I'd be 100% boyfriend active."

"Again, I don't mind if you're busy." I replied. "I'm not clingy, so..."

"Okay." He laughed. He turned to his computer and back at me, realizing he still has some work to do. "Hey, I kinda' have to-"

"No, sure! I'll see you!" I waved and walked away.

Before I went too far, I walked past Natasha's cubicle where it was such a mess. There were papers on the floor. I thought instantly that she was a slob, but I took a closer look at the papers, and they were the survey papers. There was one lying just beside my shoe, and out of curiosity, I grabbed that one paper. My mind went HOLY SHIT when I saw that it was Alex's survey form. Yes, he wrote his name despite the thing being optional. I had told myself I wasn't interested, but it just appeared there right in front of me. I read the whole thing, and I got a pretty good insight on Alex's sex life. There were those simple questions where they asked his gender, age, and other kinds of shit, but I highlighted on those that seemed more interesting. It had one question there that asked about when he had his last intercourse, and he wrote 'over a year ago', so I thought it was probably the one with me. It was that time when he got drunk, and I took advantage of his drunkenness. There was also another question that grabbed my attention: "Do you regret any of your sexual activities?", and he answered 'Every single one except the last one.'

I was a little turned on... okay, I was so turned on. It was hard to resist that sexy feeling I had towards Alex, and I just wanted to stay away, but I had a class with him in Sociology, so what could I do? Anyway, it didn't take long for my Sociology class with him to start, and I got to class early since I wasn't really doing anything. There were a few students there including Alex and Janine. The room was very big, so the others probably couldn't hear the flirtation engaging. Janine was seating from Alex's right, so I went and sat on Alex's left.

"Hey there." I placed my bag on the desk of my arm chair.

"Hey, Liyah." Alex quickly faced me like he was trying to bail out from a conversation.

"Hi, Liyah!" she called me. "How's your boyfriend?"

"Uhm..." I took a swallow. Was she reminding Alex that I have a boyfriend? I guess that could mean Alex has told her that I was his ex... or maybe she's just a creep. "He's good. I just brought him lunch."

"Aww, that's sweet." She giggled.

"I didn't know you bring lunch to Ken." Alex said with a tone of concern. Deep inside I was shouting YES MAYBE HE GOT JEALOUS!

"I don't." I laughed. "He just seemed really busy today, so I thought I'd give him a hand."

"Wow." He nodded. "I'm glad you're working things out despite the busy schedule and all."

"Alex..." I looked at him with that face I always do when I feel like lecturing someone. "I'm not doing this with you here."

"I'm sorry." He laughed. "I thought it'd be funny."

"Sander is so funny and sweet, right?" Janine giggled.

"Yeah, totally." I said, somehow with sarcasm.

"Hey, we should catch up some time." She said, and Alex turned to her. It was a little weird. Somehow, I wanted to ship her with Alex, but somehow, I also wanted to hit her. "We could grab some lunch or something. You like movies? Or parties?"

"Uhmm..." Alex was totally speechless. It was funny and a bit adorable. "I guess."

"Great!" she continued. "My friend's having this dinner party at her house this Friday night. You should totally come!"

"Uh, I don't know." He was obviously trying to back out, but Janine was a bit too much. "I'm not sure I could go. We may have loft stuff."

"We don't have loft stuff." I teased. "We're just taking Laura for a checkup. You should go to that party."

"You can come too if you want, Liyah." She added. "And bring your boyfriend..."

"Thanks, but I'll pass." I replied. "Like I said, we're taking Laura for a checkup."

"I think I should go with you to the doctor. You might need something." He faced me and was giving me that mercy face. He raised his brows like he was begging me.

"No." I shook my head and smirked at him. "Harvey and I will be there. We don't need anything. It's just a checkup, not a surgery. You should go to your party."

"Alright!" he sighed silently. "I'll go."

"Yey!" she giggled again. "It's gonna be so much fun!"

So, that happened. Janine asked Alex out, weirdly enough, and I think I did I great job getting my 'friend' out there somewhere for sex and fun. Anyway, that's about the major highlights of our conversation. The rest of the class was occupied by the usual boring discussions and paper works. Yes, life sucks as a student.
