My life had taken a constant spin of events. I had accepted the fact that Alex and I were officially done, and we were both ready to move on with our lives. I was with Ken, and he was with Janine, but that didn't really stop me from getting crazy horny every time he cornered me or came out of the shower while I was brushing my teeth. Anyway, it went on until I finished the whole Summer classes, and the normal school year semester had already started, and we enrolled except for Laura. She was still well despite the whole months of pregnancy. They were holding on until she gives birth and give it up for adoption.
Unfortunately, all these months, Laura still hadn't told her parents about the pregnancy thing. For 4 months, her belly started having this small bulk. Anyway, we were planning on telling her parents about it once we got back to Neptune for Thanksgiving, and there we were. November 22 was the day we went back to Neptune for Thanksgiving.
~~~ Thanksgiving~~~
Anyway after about six hours of flight time from San Francisco to Newark, we rode a cab to Neptune, and on the way, Laura and Harvey were crazy nervous. That wasn't surprising, and I probably would've been freaking out if it was me, but you know, I never forget the condom, just once when I took advantage of drunken Alex. It was about noon time when we were minutes away from arriving at my home.
"Oh God, I'm so nervous." Laura was starting to panic. Laura, Harvey, and I were sitting at the back seat with Laura in the middle, me in the right, and Harvey on the left. Alex was in front.
"You have to relax. It's a lot scarier for me since they're your parents." Harvey said.
"It's going to be fine. Laura's parents are pretty cool people." I tried to calm them down.
"They're cool as long as I'm not pregnant." She added.
"Laura, you're an adult." I said as I held her hand, nothing that makes her feel that I'm a lesbian. "I know you're your parents' responsibility, but tell them there's no need to worry. Harvey, Alex, and I are here. We've got your back. We're going to see this whole thing until you give that baby for adoption."
"Thanks, Liyah." She said in a very sorry voice. "I hope they understand."
"Just calm down." I said. "Alex and I can do the talking if you want. Right, Alex?"
"Huh?" he turned to us. Apparently, he was busy texting his gal. "I'm sorry, what?"
"Nothing!" I laughed. "You text your girl!"
"I'm sorry." He chuckled and went back to texting his girl. "It's just Janine wouldn't stop texting."
"I think he may have met his match with this one." Laura smiled at me. Somehow, I found that a bit comforting. I guess, at least one of us is happy, and I found it comforting that shifting the topic to Alex's sex life calmed Laura and Harvey down.
"Yeah. She's so crazy about Alex. It's cute." I said and crossed my arms.
Anyway, we got to our house with all the talk of nonsense on the way, and Laura and Harvey really got their minds off the problem. Our plan was that we were supposed to tell Laura's parents that we would be unable to attend their family's Thanksgiving dinner and instead attend my family's Thanksgiving dinner. After that, we could just drop off at their place and talk whatever's needed to be talked about.
"OMG." Laura was stretching her shirt down as soon as she stepped off the cab with me. It was a very big and airy shirt. She wore it so no one could notice the small baby bump. It was already snowing in New Jersey, so even when Laura has her big-ass shirt on, we were still wearing our coats and jackets. "Does it seem obvious?"
