Part 32 (son)

Seven months later

Luke's pov

We found out at twenty weeks through the pregnancy what gender our smaller penguin was. We were having a boy. Today we are decorating the room I'm getting even more excited as Milly gets her baby bump with our little boy in it. The boys were coming over to help with painting and putting a cot together. I don't know why I trust them with paint but I do. We haven't thought of a first name but the middle name is going to be Lucas. We only have two months left and we hope that he doesn't have any problems while they bring him to the world. I am really excited for this baby. So are Milly and the boys. My dad doesn't know that his only child is going to be a father and he is going to be a grandfather but Milly says that he doesn't deserve to know because he left me. I finally got hold of my mum and she knows about my soon to be son. We caught up on a lot of information about each other. It was nice to talk to my mum and she said that she may be moving to near our area to help out with the baby. Milly's mum is also helping out a lot. She is taking Milly shopping for baby stuff. The boys got here and are now putting the left over paint on each others faces. They are really immature. Ashton found a girlfriend as well as Calum and Mikey. They are all friends of Milly's and they came over when the boys came over. That's when we told everybody the news and the boys clearly liked what they saw. The boys don't mind when Milly and I kiss anymore because of their girlfriends. Ashton is going out with a girl named Laura. Milly became friends with Chloe,the one who didn't like mikey but that changed. Mikey is now going out with Chloe and Calum is going out with a girl named Sophie. They all love each other. The boys were all thinking of proposing to the girls on the same night but different places. I think that it is great for them to propose because then they might end up like Milly and I. A puppy and a soon to come baby. The boys and I are now putting a cot together while Milly is filling the draws with stuff that she has already got for our smaller penguin. The boys are absolutely hopeless at following instructions so I am basically doing it myself now. I got it together,put blankets on it and also a stuffed teddy. It looks amazing and I know that it's going to be the perfect room for him.

Milly's pov

I am getting really excited for the baby boy that I going to have. We came up with the middle name Lucas and I was thinking of naming him Samuel. Making it Samuel Lucas Hemmings. I like it. We got the room ready with the help of the boys. I can't believe how good it looks and I never thought that the boys couldn't follow instructions very well. It was funny watching them argue about what goes where while Luke was putting the cot together himself. I'm so glad that I am having this baby because it is going to be our tiny penguin and Luke's mum is coming to help meaning that she is going to be contacting Luke a lot more. He was also really happy that his mum is moving back because he never saw his mum and only found her when he told her about our baby boy. I felt the baby kicking.

"Luke,come here" I said
Quietly

"Yeah?"

"Feel this"

I placed his hand where the baby was kicking and a smile appeared on Luke's face making me smile.

"That's amazing. Our little penguin is kicking inside of your stomach. Does it hurt?"

"No not really it just feels funny"

"Oh"

"I'm really excited for this baby to come into our lives"

"I am too and he should be out in about two months"

"I know it's crazy to think that a little boy will pop out of me in two months"

"You will be a fantastic mother and I already know it"

"As you will be the best father living on this earth today"

"Mill what if I just became the father that I had?"

"Luke, you and I both know that that will never happen. You need to trust me when I say your going to be a great father to our baby boy"

"Yeah ok but I'm just scared"

"Hey, I'm scared to but I don't think that there will be any reason for either of us to be scared. We will be fine. We have your mum, my mum and the boys to help us."

"Okay, but, aghh, never mind"

"Come here"

He did as I said and came over to me. I pulled him into a tight hug.

"Luke we will be absolutely fine" I whispered into his ear while rubbing his back.

"I guess"

We pulled out of the hug and I had a concerned look on my face as Luke had a slight, upset smile on his face. I hate how Luke doesn't believe that he will be a good father. I guess he heard from people that you treat your kids the way you got treated as a child and scared him. His father is a jerk and couldn't see the fact that Luke was and still is an amazing kid. I believe in Luke.
