Part 33 (samuel)

One month later

Luke's pov

I was talking to milly about random stuff before a pained look came onto her face.

"Mill are you alright?"

"Luke, t-the, aghh shit, the baby is coming"

"Oh um ok"

I quickly drove to the hospital as Milly was in so much pain. I felt bad that I couldn't do anything for her but to be with her. We got to the hospital and quickly went inside. We told the nurses that she was having my baby boy and they took us to a room. Milly had to wait there a couple of hours before it was time. I stood at the side of the bed holding her hand and saying things to comfort her. I was ready for her to snap at me whenever she would.

"Milly you will need to push really hard"

She did as the doctor said and pushed really hard. She squeezed my hand really hard aswell. She puffed as she was out of breath.

"Come on Milly. Another push."

She pushed hard again doing the same thing as last time. I hate this feeling so much. I couldn't do anything for her at all.

"He's almost here"

With one last push our tiny penguin was introduced into this world.they took him to clean him up before bringing him back to Milly. She held him with a smile on her face. I was leaning over her shoulder and looking at the baby boy that is mine. He was so cute. He had Milly's brown hair and my blue eyes. Milly looked up at me and smiled.

"Do you want to hold your new son?"

"Yes please. I'd love to"

She gave me my baby and I looked into his eyes with a smile on my face. He had a smile on his face while he squirmed in my arms. This precious thing is mine. He is a Hemmings just like me.

"Do you have any thoughts on a first name?" I asked

"I was thinking of Samuel. Samuel Lucas Hemmings. Do you like it?"

"I love it. His name is samuel"

"Do you guys have a name?" The doctor asked not hearing our convosation before.

"Um yeah we were thinking of Samuel Lucas Hemmings" I said to him

"That's a nice choice of name."

"Thank you. Milly came up with it"

The doctors then did the usual check up while Milly and I got moved to a room. My phone rang and I saw Ashton's name pop up. We where going to have band practice on tonight but things obviously changed.

"Hey Luke where are you?"

"I'm at the hospital. I'm a father"

"Omg Luke that's great. Can the boys and I come up to see your new son?"

"Yea don't rush"

"Ok we will see you soon then"

"Ok then bye"

"Bye"

He hung up and I walked over to Milly. She had cleaned up a bit and tried to look as presentable as she can after giving birth to see the boys. Soon later there was a knock at the door. The boys.

"Hey guys."

"Hey Luke" mikey said quietly

"Where's your little guy?" Calum asked

"Over here"

I lead them to Samuel and they all had smiles on their faces.

"Do you want to hold him?" I asked them

"Yea please"

I handed ash Samuel and Sam held his hand around ash's finger. Ash then handed him to Calum.

"What's his name?" Ash asked

"His name is Samuel Lucas Hemmings" I answered.

Calum then handed Sam to mikey.

"I have always wanted a child" Calum blurted out

"Really? I never saw you as wanting a child. Are you going to ask Sophie?"

"Um well I was planning on getting engaged first"

"Oh yeah. When are you guys even going to ask your girls?"

"Um we were going to ask tomorrow but seeing as Sam is born im not too sure if we should change it to next week" mikey stated

"Why would you change it because of Sam?" I asked confused

"Um well because they might want to visit Milly and Sam."

"Guys you don't need to postpone you engagement plans because of Sam"

"Yeah ok. I guess we could still do it but if you need us we will be right there waiting"

"Guys spend time with your girlfriends not my family. You need to start your own family. Ask them tomorrow and if we need help we always have Milly's mum and nurses" I say

"Okay thanks Luke"

"No problem"

I look over at Milly and she is having a convo with ash. I can't believe that I have my own son.
