You & I

Part 1 (first day of school)

Milly's pov
It was a new start at this school. It seemed like I could actually make new friends and study new things. As I walked into the new school the first thing that I did was go to the office and get my timetable but sadly they didn't have lockers at Norwest Christian college like at my old school in Brisbane. I heard people whispering around me but then I realised that it wasn't about me it was about a group of boys that just walked by and everybody was watching out of the way so the didn't 'get hurt'.

I found my class and went in. The first thing that I realised was that one of the boys where in my class and the only seat left was next to him so I had a seat. The role was called and he started to talk to me... " hi I'm Luke. " I just simply responded with " hi I'm milly. " the bell rung signalling that we needed to go to our next class. I sat next to a girl named Sally and she was talking about how rude and selfish Luke hemmings was. I wasn't too sure if the Luke she was talking about was the Luke I met earlier.

At lunch I ate lunch with Sally who didn't have many friends until Luke showed up. " hey milly I know that you are sitting with your friend but do you want to come and meet my friends? " Luke asked politely.
I wasn't too sure if Sally was ok with it because she was rolling her eyes but she said that she was going and so I had no other option.
"Sure, I'd love to" I replied.
"Cool, well come on" said Luke
I followed Luke to his friends who where named Calum and Michael They seemed cool and we ate our lunch together talking about anything until we had to go to class. I had science last and it wasn't my best subject. Before I could leave the table Luke called my name.
"Hey milly"
"Yea"
"Um we have science together in pretty sure, so can I walk with you?"
"Sure but you didn't have to ask" I replied with a slight chuckle.
"To science then" Luke yelled.Science was boring but Luke made it much better.

Luke, Calum, Michael and I split up and went in all different ways except for Luke who walked home with me. We walked in  silence except for when Luke made jokes and I chuckled. We got to my house and before I left Luke spoke up.
"WAIT! Can I um, can I get your number?"
I didn't know why but I said sure and gave him my number before he said that he will text me later tonight and I agreed. After Luke left I quickly went inside and up to my bed where I then laid face first into my pillow. My eyes slowly got heavier and the without noticing I fell asleep.
