Part 40 (lukes mum)

Milly's pov

I woke up in Luke's arms. I looked at his left arm that was wrapped around me and saw the cuts. I can't believe he tried to do that to himself and he knows how much it hurts to loose someone close to you by self harm from Katie. It hurt a lot to see him like this. Luke's phone then started to call and I answered it.

"Hello?"

"Hi, you need to come to the hospital with Luke"

"Cody, what happened?"

"It's Luke's mum"

"Ok we will be there soon"

I then hung up and woke Luke up.

"What?"

"We need to go to the hospital. It's about your mum"

"Ok let me get ready"

We both got ready and went to the hospital. When we got there we saw Cody out the front crying.

"Cody what happened?" Luke asked

"Mum was in an accident. She-she didn't make it" he said crying

"I'm so sorry." I said to both Luke and Cody.

They were both hugging each other and crying. I started to form tears in my eyes and Luke pulled me into the hug. We were all hugging and crying in the middle of the hospital door. After a while we broke the group and I drove them all home. Cody came and stayed in our guest room for the night.

Luke's pov

When I found out that mum had died I was crying my eyes out. I saw that Milly was crying and pulled her into a hug with Cody. Milly and Cody are staying the night. I am really glad that Milly is staying the night to comfort me. I still can't believe my mum died today. I have no connection to my dad, my mum died, my brother is an arse and my wife isn't really happy with me right now.

"I'm,um,I'm going to the bathroom" I told Milly

"Okay"

I left and went to the bathroom looking for a blade. I found one and sliced a couple of times before stopping and going back to bed. I laid in bed with Milly and was falling asleep until I heard a gasp.

"Why?"

"My life is shit right now Milly. I don't want to live, at all"

"So you don't want to see your son grow up? You don't want me?"

"I'm sorry Milly. I really am but I have a terrible life right now"

"Luke you have me, a son and your famous. What else do you want?"

"My father, my mother and a proper life" I replied now yelling

She looked like I had hurt her and she stayed quite while I realised what I had said.

"Milly I'm sorry. I can't deal with this life. I didn't mean that we aren't a normal family, I meant that I have a father across the world and my mother has died. Can we just go to bed? Please?"

"Let's clean you up first"

She took me to the bathroom and wet a cloth. She then put the cloth on and it hurt a lot. I flinched and Milly noticed.

"Sorry"

She kept on going and then the blood cleared and we went back to bed. I didn't think that Milly cared that much. Like yea she stayed with me yesterday because of it but tonight she cleared The blood and made sure I was ok before going back to bed. Today was a really rough day and all that I wanted to do is escape the world and be with mum. I slowly fell asleep.

Milly's pov

When I saw Luke's arm my heart stopped. I can't believe he actually cut again. I need to move into the guest room to make sure that it doesn't become a habit. I will talk to him in the morning but now I need sleep. I fell asleep.

When I woke up I saw Luke smiling down at me.

"Good Morning penguin"

"Luke"

"Seriously, your too mad to call me penguin?"

"Yes, but I'm going to stay in the guest room from now on so that you don't kill yourself. Okay?"

"Okay"

"Great I'll go get my stuff and then unpack. But you have to make sure Cody is gone by then."

"Ok. Will do."

I left and then got everything packed to go back home.

"So, your moving back in with Luke?" Sophie asked.

"I guess, but it's only to look after him and make sure he isn't going to kill himself"

"Yea ok, are you packed?"

"Yea. Thank you for having me"

"No problem"

"Bye"

"Bye"

I then went back home and unpacked everything into the guest room.
