(Soap)
I came to once more, I was in a bed. But it wasn't the warmth as the first thing I felt. Just pain, I gripped my chest as I tried to ease it but that didn't help. I stood up siffly with a groan. But with a quick look around it just looked of a bedroom, not to sound paranoid, but I panicked and went straight to the door. No Price or Nikolai to be seen.
It wasn't locked, but I was still worried. The moment I stepped into the hall I heard someone annouce, "Hey guys! He's up!" It was a Russian, I was captured and I knew! Now I picked up the pace and whipped down teh hall as this guard was chasing me. Then something, or someone, stopped me and I swung around nailing a fist into this mans face. I didn't care who it was I just ran like hell.
"Get him!" A different one shouted. It didn't sound like a man that time, but it was still Russian! I flew down teh steps when finally five people all plowed into me and got me to the floor. That person I punched turned out to be a dark haired woman, still Russian, she was holding a needle. I didn't like where this was going. "Just relax." She told me as she let it go into my shoulder. Which it turned out to be bare, where the hell did the jacket, vest and everything go?
Whatever kind of drug or whatever that was in that needle had some serious effects. I was suddenly calm and drousy, I was both wanting to hit her in teh face and hug her. Maybe it was the drug talking. Finally I asked, "What the heck was that stuff?"
"Just something to end the panic attack," She told me. I looked at her face with an increasing ease. I kinda felt stupid when I'm this calm because I wasn't on top of things.
"Soap, you need to listen to me," It was Nikolai. "We're at a safehouse. We're safe for now." Okay who was he and what did he do to Nikolai? He NEVER sounded this freaking relaxed before. I looked at the other four who had tackled me over, Price, Ghost, Roach, and Scarab. Was I the only one who was confused here?
"Come on," Price sighed. "Let's get him on the couch or something."
"What your back bothering you, old man?" Ghost teased already getting off.
"So what if it is?" Price asked as he pulled me to my feet. I was just dizzy as all hell, I sure as hell don't remember the room being about to spin. Nikolai found a comfy spot on a recliner, Roach took a chair, Ghost sat backwards in a chair he pulled from a dining room, Price and Scarab sat on either sides of me on the couch.
Scarab had a hand on my shoulder and told me, "Soap, we're at the last refudge for the loyalists. And we are only here until everyone is in good enough shape to go." I looked at her, studing her face, the same face I thought was dead over a week ago! But I had missed it everyday I didn't see it, and here she was. She cocked her head and asked with an inoccent face, "Do you still trust me?"
Truthfully I didn't know. Again with this excuse but this drug made it only harder to think straight. Half of me wanted to, but the other half was full of questions. She could have at least told me she was alive to save me the panic. I realized how warm her hand were on my shoulder blade, that paired with the expression just made it harder for me to consiter. I then nodded. "Yah. But I- Just don't know what to think right now."
It was silent for a moment and Price was the first to break the silence, "Do you wanna just go get some rest or something? You still have that stab wound of yours."
Oh I DID? Note the sarcasim. I thought I 'magically' healed. I didn't say anything and everyone took it as I just needed some space. They dispersed, except for Scarab.

(Scarab)
I looked at him and his shirtless glory. I was just so sorry, "Seeing you so cut up, it was scary. And when you passed out in the helicopter I couldn't help but be scared. I was worried that I would never see you again, alive anyways. I thought_" I was cut off by Soap as he pressed my lips to mine.
I felt the world around me melt away, and I wrapped my arms around him as the kiss deepthened. I felt light headed, but I didn't care. I felt his arms glide up my back hold me close to him. After what seemed like forever he pulled away, "Don't be. I should be sorry, you were right and I wouldn't listen."
"No I should," I told him quietly. "I should have told you the moment I came to this damn safehouse." I came in to kiss him and he grinned as we connected once more. His body leaned in closer, and he was nearly on top of me.
He stopped a moment with a suttle grin as he whispered, "I've been dying inside ever since you were reported dead." And like that he went back to kissing me. One of his hands was moving through my short hair. I ran my fingers through his mohawk felt over his chest. I wanted this to last, I wished time could freeze in this moment.
"How do you breathe?" A voice asked. Both of us seperated, well more like Soap fell off of me and on the floor because he was caught off guard. We both snapped a look at Roach who stood in the door, clueless as ever. Looking down I saw Soap rub the back of his head and glare at Roach.
I felt my cheeks get hot as I wondered how much he really saw. And then realized I was nervously smiling, "Uh how long were you standing there?"
"Long enough to see him snog you," Roach answered straightly. He had no one those parent-type looks and turned to Soap, "What the hell was that?"
I saw Soap's cheeks blush as he show'd how freaking embarrassed he truely was. "I thought I told you."
Roach thought for a moment and exclaimed, "Oh yah! I forgot about that!" Then added as he came towards the dinging room, "Do you want me to keep quiet about this?"
"Please," Soap and I both said and looked at each other only to shade a deeper red. And then Roach was gone. But I still felt the bugger was gonna say something.
"So uh," Soap chuckled. This was kind of like being an ocward teenager again. Both of us so... well ocward is the only word that came to mind.
"Yah," I finished and sat up then helped him to his feet. Both of us still kind of taken off guard by Roach's surprise entery. The kiss still lingered on my lips, I just wanted to do it again. But I wasn't gonna beg.
Soap sighed before looking back at me, "Sorry."
"For what?" I asked quite confused.
"It was my fault Roach saw us kissing." He paused and then went on, "And I should have believed you in the first place. Then we could have avoided all of this. I just_"
This time I cut him off. I smiled and told him, "You don't need to." And we went upstairs, I knew Roach was probably ready to duck tape his mouth by now because of his yappy nature. It was getting late by now, and seeing Soap so freaked out earilier just got me nervous. I hoped he wouldn't forget that he was here the next day and try to break out of the safehouse again. Well I knew one thing, he slept straight through dinner, but there wasn't any complaints. "Good night," I told him followed up with a kiss on the cheek.
He gave me a joker grinner and turned to go into his room. I flew into mine and sat on my bed. With so many thoughts swimming through my mind, I didn't know what to think. I didn't know how to admit it to myself and finally I whispered, "I love him." After a bit I fell asleep.

A/N: Well yah Soap completely panicked. I think any of you guys would if you suppenly appeared in a place you didn't know.

And yes I fail at the really sappy crap! I finally discided to end it with Roach interupting. But at least the caimpainge is done.
