calum-
kaeleigh and i didn't act much different after our conversation. sure we were a bit more clingy, but we had always been that way. the only things new were the small kisses we shared every so often. i hadn't asked her out yet, because i wasn't sure she want me to.
okay, she said she likes me too, but what if she didn't want to date me? if i asked and she rejected, wouldn't that ruin everything?
from kae <3 - come over
to kae <3 - what if i don't want to?
from kae <3 - come over, pLEASE.
to kae <3 - hmm.
from kae <3 - calum thomas hood i swear to god
to kae <3 - fine, mum.
from kae <3 - do you kiss your /mum/ with that mouth?
to kae <3 - on my way.
"you're a loser." kaeleigh announced as she stepped aside to let me in, closing the door behind me. "don't call me mum after you kiss me and tell me you love me."
i rolled my eyes. "i kiss my mum and tell her i love her."
"really?" she raised an eyebrow, "you do this to you mum?" she stepped forward, pressing her mouth to mine. i responded instantly, slipping my tongue into her mouth. she, however, pulled away, leaving me frowning.
"good point."
"i know," kae winked, and i followed her into the kitchen. "oh, you made me forget what i wanted to talk to you about." she jumped, sitting up on the counter. i stood between her legs, my hands on either side of her, my face even with hers.
"what are we?"
i sighed at the question, "what do you want us to be?"
"well i want to be able to kiss you anytime i want without saying i'm kissing my best friend." she deadpanned, "so, what are we?"
"hold on," i held up a finger, making her raise an eyebrow. "okay. kaeleigh anne hall, would you do me the terrific honor of going on a date with me?"
"hmm," kaeleigh tapped her chin with her index finger. "sure, i guess."
"you guess?" i questioned, leaning even closer to her. our noses brushed against one another, and i felt her breath on my lips. "you guess?"
"yeah," she breathed, "what are you gonna do about it?"
"i'm gonna make sure this date in fan - fûcking - tastic, so that you'll be positive that you want another one." i answered matter of factly, before smashing my lips to hers.
kaeleigh's hands tangled in my hair, pulling at the strands softly. mine traveled up to rest on her waist, pulling her even closer to me. i gently bit on her lip, tugging at her lip ring softly with my tongue. hers slipped into my mouth, and she tightened her grip on my hair, pulling my head further down.
"well isn't this a sight."
we jumped apart, and kaeleigh held her hand to her chest as she caught her breath. i panted, glaring at the three boys grinning in the doorway.
"give me your keys," kaeleigh demanded.
"your mum already took them last time we were here," michael grumbled, "the door was unlocked."
"we knocked," ashton stated, walking around the island to open the fridge. "but you were too busy to notice." he winked at us before pulling out a cheese stick.
"jerks," kaeleigh muttered under her breath.
"so what was up with that?" michael asked, completely ignoring kaeleigh. "all the kissing."
"i love her," i said simply. "she likes me. we're kind of almost a thing."
"way to be blunt about it."
"wait, really!?" luke exclaimed, again ignoring kaeleigh. "you finally grew a pair and told her?"
"he was drunk," kaeleigh corrected. "he's an honest drunk. told me everything."
i rolled my eyes, and kaeleigh continued. "so how long have you known about cal's secret love for me?"
i glared at her, but she just winked and awaited a response.
"when i first met you," ashton answered, "you went upstairs to the bathroom. luke and michael asked cal when he was gonna tell you, and they explained it to me since i was confused."
"when calum told me he liked you, i said that it seems like he loves you. he denied it. i knew. i'm cool." luke shrugged. "that was about three years ago."
"luke told me after cal told him." michael added, "because the asś decided to tell him before me."
"wow." kaeleigh breathed. "i feel so left out."
"it's not our fault," ashton smirked. "it's yours."
"stop," kaeleigh whined. "you make me seem like such a bad person."
"aw," i cooed, pressing a kiss to her cheek. "you aren't. you're a great person."
her lips turned up, and her cheeks tinted pink. michael pretended to gag, "so gross. okay. i'm leaving. i thought we could hang out, but you guys are just gonna have sèx. that's okay."
kaeleigh and i laughed, and i argued that we would tone it down, but the three boys left anyway. i turned back to kaeleigh, wiggling my eyebrows suggestively. "where were we?"
she pushed my face away from hers with a laugh. "c'mon. let's go watch tv."
"tv is so boring," i complained as she dragged me into the living room. i sat down next to her and she picked up the remote, turning the tv on and settling on a channel.
i didn't look at the screen, instead staring at the lovely girl next to me. she liked me back. after years of waiting, and hoping, and praying, kaeleigh liked me back. and i was perfectly fine with the fact that she didn't love me. in fact, i wasn't sure i wanted her to. that would make everything in danger of being ripped apart.
kaeleigh caught me staring, and raised an eyebrow at me, "what?"
i didn't respond, instead tugged at her arm, patting my lap. she tolled her eyes before scooting closer and onto my lap, leaning into my chest. i smiled happily, running my fingers through her hair as she returned her attention to the tv.
i attempted to braid her hair, but the end result was just a tangled mess. i showed it to kaeleigh, and she laughed at me.
"i tried," i pouted. "braiding is hard."
"i'll teach you sometime," she promised.
"i'll take you up on that offer."

if you think they're moving fast, you're probably right. but i'm doing that on purpose.
you roll down the hill, gaining speed, falling faster and faster. but, at the bottom, you're still rolling, and even if the ground is even and everything around you is fine, you're still rolling. and maybe you bump into a rock, but you eventually stop after a few moments. yet then you have bruises, and everything around you is still fine, but you're hurt and clueless.
that didn't make sense sorry.
love you muah.
