"kae! where do i put this?""obviously i don't know calum, because i can't even see what you're talking about!"
calum walked into the bedroom in which his girlfriend was organizing the dresser. she turned and looked at the object in his hand.
"i told you to unpack the bathroom first."
"but i wanted to do the kitchen," the boy stated. "so where do i put this?"
"just put everything in drawers like you would at your house. i'm used to it that way anyway." kaeleigh sighed, before returning to unpacking boxes.
calum grinned, setting the utensil on the stand before walking up to her. he wrapped his arms around her from behind, and rested his chin on her shoulder. "i'm sorrryyyyy."
"i know," kaeleigh replied. "i'm just stressed because of everything that's happening."
"well," calum kissed her neck. "we're almost done."
"okay," kaeleigh breathed out as she collapsed on the bed. "we're done with the living room, kitchen, bathrooms, and our room."
"only the guest room left," calum finished.
kaeleigh groaned, cuddling into calum's side and burying her face into his arm. "can we wait until we have guests to do that?"
"sure," calum chuckled. "and if the boys come over they can sleep on the couch."
"perfectly fine with me," she mumbled. "they literally only cane over, ate pizza, and left."
"asshøles," calum agreed.
---
"i love this view."
"me too."
kaeleigh looked over at calum too see him staring at her. "i'm talking about the sky."
"i'm not," he grinned.
hiding the blush on her cheeks, she turned back to the stars above her. the two were sat on the balcony of their new apartment, one that they specifically requested for this purpose.
suddenly, there was a bark from behind them, and something jumped into calum's lap.
"maxie!" kaeleigh cooed, scratching the dog behind the ears. the small animal closed her eyes, and caused calum to chuckled.
"it's like she's our child." he stated. "we're parents!"
kaeleigh laughed loudly. "no, we aren't. as much as i love maxie, and she's like a baby to me, we will not be actual parents for a while."
"so you're saying we will be parents?"
"shut up!"
--
"it looks nice."
"thanks," kaeleigh smiled at luke, who grinned back at her.
"okay, so since ashton burned the pasta, we're stuck with pizza." calum fake glared at the curly haired boy, who put his hands up in defense.
