Madeline's pov
Milo grabbed my hand as we walked inside the building. It was really bright despite the warm lighting I felt blinded as we checked in. Though I was a child star events like these still made me slightly nervous which is why I was so happy I had Milo. We were practically polar opposites with out naturally outgoing he was and my quiet more reserved demeanor.

Luna was a lot like Milo in that way too but only around people she felt comfortable with. "Do you want a drink?" Milo asked me "yes I'm so fucking nervous" Milo gave me a small smile as he let my hand go to grab two glasses of what I was assuming to be champagne from a near by waiter.

I took the glass from him and began chugging, my face almost immediately twisting up in disdain "this is disgusting" Milo laughed at my remark "you look beautiful Mads" Milo raised his left hand and ran it slowly through my short hair.

"Do I look like Louie?" I asked, half teasing and half serious. Milo always said my new haircut made me look like him, which I still wasn't sure was a compliment. "it's the eyes" I couldn't help but smile at his stupid attempt to loosen me up . I finished my drink and his as we began walking around. "Do my bangs look greasy to you Mi?" He stopped walking and parted my bangs slightly "nope, you're perfect" before I could respond someone called out to him rather loudly. We both turned towards the voice to see a tall guy walking over to us. "Oh my god Drew what's up?" Milo went to dab him up and I waited patiently for him to introduce me.

"How've you been Milo? You look great" Milo smiled at the guy... Drew before throwing his arm around my shoulder "nah I'm good man I've just been chilling with my little superstar" I figured he was talking about me so I gave Drew a small wave "shit my bad, Maddie this is Drew Starkey, Drew this is my girlfriend the Madeline Castillo" I felt my face heat up at praise "nice to meet you Maddie, I'm a big fan" we shook hands and I gave him a smile "oh my god that's so embarrassing thank you! Uh what is that you do? Are you an actor as well?" Drew nodded "yeah I play Rafe on Outer Banks, some other stuff too but you know..."

"Outer Banks!" I repeated, pretending like I knew what that was. I nodded politely, trying not to make it obvious that I had absolutely no idea.. "I'm waiting for Odessa but you know she's always on Odessa time" Milo smiled "you can hang with Maddie and I, She's being all nervous and shy so the more the merrier" I gave Drew a smile before thumping Milo in the back of his head.

We walked over to one of the couches and on our way over I grabbed another glass of champagne to calm my nerves. "You guys have been together for awhile now yeah?" Drew asked "two years in August" Milo answered as I sipped my drinking slowly. "How'd you guys meet? I feel like this is common knowledge but like I'm so out of the loop for everything" Dre said jokingly "Milo's been my celebrity crush since I watched Zombies and then we met at Disney prom but I never said anything until the summer of 2022 or rather he started paying attention to me" I told Drew as I finished off my drink.

"Wait don't say it like that it sounds bad. She commented on one of my post for the first time ever which was a big deal because I always thought she was cute and then I fought for her attention off of social media" I rolled my eyes at Milo "you never told me that before" I said smiling at him "Drew what the fuck I've been calling you" we all looked up to see a girl stalking towards us. She had her curls pulled back into a low bun and Louis sunglasses shielded her eyes but I assumed this was Odessa.

"Dess I'm so sorry my phone died awhile ago, I told you to get here" Odessa smiled at him and threw her arms around him "you jerk you need to be more responsible" Drew shrugged "nah I got you, oh ugh Dess this is Milo and Maddie, guys this is Odessa" I shook her hand and studied her face "sorry you just look super familiar" Odessa slimed her big smile at me "I get that a lot I've got two sisters" when she said that a light bulb went off in my head "oh shit is your sister Gideon?" Odessa nodded
