Sofia, October 31st
"Woah lover! Don't you dare slow down!"
I snort quietly, watching Gabe stand on the island with the wooden spoon in his hand, his eyes closed and hips swinging as he sings.
"Push Harder! You can last more rounds!"
"Gabe, get down!" I laugh, moving the bowl I'm mixing out of the way as he twirls with a grin. "You're going to hurt yourself."
"Sofi, I'm literally invincible." He scoffs, rolling his eyes.
"That doesn't mean you can't get hurt." I remind him, taking the bowl to the counter where the greased pan is waiting for me. "The guys are gonna be home soon. Mason's gonna scold you for wearing shoes on the counter again." I point out, hearing him mock me before a loud thud, meaning he either fell or jumped down.
He comes up next to me with a grin, swiping his finger through the batter as I pour it into the pan, earning a glare from me.
Currently, Gabe and I are baking. Well, I'm baking. Gabe is...doing Gabe things. The others left about an hour and a half ago for a few different reasons. Some of them went grocery shopping, some of them went to handle business, and some of them went to West Valley.
The only reason Gabe and I are home is because Gabe is on ban from West Valley due to a few issues he had last weekend that involved hairspray and a lighter, and I offered to stay home with him and keep him company.
As I suspected, less than thirty minutes later the door swings open and multiple voices fill the house, drowning out the music we'd been playing. I finish washing up the last few dishes and put them in the drying rack, turning around just intime to see Mason come into the kitchen looking yummy as ever.
"Hey, Baby." He smiles, walking over to me. "You made a lot." He says, hands immediately finding their resting place on my hips and his lips pressing against my temple.
"I figured it wouldn't hurt to have some treats."
Plus, I've gotten a few complaints because there's been no desserts to snack on.
"I missed you today," He murmurs lowly, kissing that sweet spot under my ear that has me shivering and my knees weak. "Missed me?"
"Yeah, I missed you." I say with a soft laugh, wrapping my arms around his neck. "Did everything go okay?" I ask him, staring into his captivating dark blue eyes.
He just shrugs in response, so I know something probably didn't go well but I won't press him on it right now.
"This cake still has about twenty minutes before it's ready." I tell him, smiling. "Do you know if they bought the hair dye?" I ask him.
"Probably. Gotta check." He answers, standing up to his full height which has my feet lifting off the ground. I don't get the chance to say anything before he's wrapping my legs around his waist and kissing me like a starved man.
Before I can practically melt in his arms, collective groans sound from around us making me smile against his lips, pulling away and looking over his shoulder.
"Hi, guys!" I smile, raising my hand and waving.
"Can you go away?" Mason asks rudely, and I discreetly pinch his arm as he puts me down.
So rude to his friends.
"Can you guys not dry hump in the community kitchen?" Brody shoots back. "We're trying to bring in groceries without getting fucking traumatized."
