Sofia (2:32am)

I wake up to the door creaking open, slowly opening my eyes and struggling to sit up as a large, dark figure slips into the room and shuts the door behind him.

"Hello?" I ask hoarsely, finding my glasses and putting them on, watching the dark figure approach before relief settles in my chest. "Mason?"

"Hey, sweetheart." He whispers, pulling his hood down as he approaches my bed.

"What time is it?" I mumble in confusion.

"Early, I just wanted to make sure you were okay." He responds gently. "We're all good." He tells me, and a weight suddenly feels lifted off my shoulders.

"Good," I nod quietly. "Are you okay? No injuries or anything?"

"I'm good." He nods. "I'll be back in the morning, alright? Get some sleep."

I frown a bit, but don't argue.

He leans down and kisses my head gently, before helping me lay back down and taking my glasses off my face, putting them in a tray before kissing my head one more time, then silently slipping out of the room as if he wasn't even here in the first place.

Sofia (8am) ~

"Someone's impatient." Phoebe teased as she sits on the end of my bed, smiling teasingly.

I ignore her, watching the door until it finally creaks over very slowly, and I watch everyone walk in.

Almost everyone.

"Where's Tristan?" I immediately ask, not spotting the smiley brunette amongst the crowd. Everyone looks at Mason, who walks toward me.

"He's in the room next door," He says calmly. "He was shot three times, but he pulled through. He'll be okay."

I force myself to take a breath, nodding slowly.

He'll be okay.

That means everyone's okay.

"Mason, I can walk." I sigh as he pushes the wheelchair into the elevator.

"You could open your stitches," He replies, pressing the garage button and I pout. "You need to stay off your feet for awhile."

I can't help but groan quietly, slouching in the seat as he stands behind me.

"How long am I gonna be on house arrest?" I mutter bitterly, and I hear him chuckle quietly.

"Until you're at least 80 percent healed. I don't want you getting even more hurt."

I wonder who's gonna hover more, him or Brody.

At least I have Chris, Gabe, and Phoebe to keep me sane.

"Sofia! Lay down!"

I groan loudly, lying back down and covering my face with a pillow.

"I was bringing it, don't try getting up."

"Gabriel," I groan, removing the pillow as he sets a cup of tea down next to me on the bedside table. "I'm fine. You guys are all up and moving, why can't ai?"

"Because Mason's scary as fuck, Sofia." He whines loudly, stomping his foot like a child. "If it were up to me, we'd be swimming right now and having a water fight. But Mason has everyone on lock down. Won't even let us go to the grocery store alone."
