A/N: I was inspired by another Stitchers fanfiction on here to write this one shot! And I just love The Great Gatsby too ❤ And I'm probably going to make this one shot into a few parts, if that's okay:) Hope y'all enjoy!

As the team joined in the conference room for yet another overview before Kirsten stitched in.

"Andrea Lewis, 25. Cause of death was a hit-and-run." Maggie began.

"Do we have any idea who hit her?" Cameron questioned, staring at her picture. She was a red head and had piercing brown eyes.

"Not yet, Fisher is working on it. But believe it or not, surprisingly the car was a golden yellow. It was one of the classic cars." You could see the wheels turn in Cameron's mind, he had a brilliant idea.

As the the team turn to look at him they saw his mind at work. He started to dig through his bag for his copy of the one and only: The Great Gatsby.

"What is it, Cameron?" Kirsten questioned.

"I think Fitzgerald is our side for this stitch." He told them holding up his book.

"Why do you think a book from the 1920's has anything to do with this hit-&-run?" Linus questioned as they walked back into lab.

"There's just so many similarities, the victim and Myrtle are described the same. The died the same way. I mean it's like the killer want to react his favorite book." Camille and Linus exchanged questioning looks and then gave into Cameron's seemingly far fetched idea.

"Well that ruined Gatsby for me." Camille admits.

"So you really believe when Kirsten stitches she going to see a reenactment of Myrtle's death scene?"

"Maybe- I don't know. It doesn't make sense, you're right. But that's the best lead I can come up with."

"And that's why we stitch!" Camille and Linus announced together. All Cameron could do what shake his head. This was going to be an interesting day to say the least.

"Stations please!"

"Lights at 20%!"

"All right, I need a go, no-go for stitch neurosync!"

"Life-sci."

"Good to go."

"Sub-bio."

"Go."

"Engineering."

"All systems online. Go."

"Communications."

"We are a go!"

"Medical."

"She's looking good. Go!"

"Comm check. One-two, one-two."

"I hear you." Cameron was going to induce stitch neurosync but today was different. The Great Gatsby was his favorite love story and for some reason it made him feel bold enough to take chances with Kirsten.

"You know wherever you go, I go Daisy."

"Is that right, Gatsby?"

"Absolutely." He felt his cheeks heat up and of course he heard Linus and Camille giggling in the corner. They're such children.

"Induce stitch neurosync on my mark: 3, 2, 1! Mark!"

As she appeared into another dimension, she saw a glittering party. A mansion filled with people without a care in the world.
