It was a sunny Saturday afternoon in Los Angeles. So, what were our two favorite geniuses up to?

"Ready?" Cameron asked as he glanced over the his blonde beauty. He hesitated before pressing play on his iPhone.

Kirsten nodded her head and walked over to Cameron. She took a deep breath as she stared down at her feet. She was so nervous. Let's be honest. Kirsten was extremely intelligent. Math? That's a no brainer. Kirsten's mind was lace with formulas and calculations. Science?  Any day of the week. She breathed science. But when it came to something like dancing, she was finished. She basically had two left feet which was a completely disaster for herself and Cameron.

A melody overtook the room. Fly Me To The Moon by Frank Sinatra filled both of their ears as they assumed their positions. Cameron placed his hand on her waist and Kirsten did likewise on his upper arm. Then they both used their other free hand, their fingertips brushed against each other just before their fingers interlocked in unison. He cradled her hand and waist so he could help guide the way. They both looked up into each other's eyes. If you could hear his heart now it would sound like a sledgehammer.
"Follow my lead. Alright, Cupcake?" He told her. She nodded her head timidly.

As the lyrics began, Kirsten followed Cameron's lead, trying her best not to trample his bare feet. The trumpets played in celebratory tone as Cameron talked out the beats as originally promised. "1, 2, 3, 4. 2-"

Kirsten tried her best following Cameron's lead and footsteps but in the end she just couldn't keep up. Sadly that had a really bad end result for Cameron's feet being stumbled on. Cameron groaned in pain and Kirsten quickly apologized. "I'm so sorry Cam!" Cameron shook his head.

"It's no big deal, Stretch." He said as he sat down and began to rub his feet.

"Wanna try again?" He offered. He knew they had to get this right before the wedding.

"No way!" Kirsten complained as she stomped away from brunette.
"Kirst-" He begged with pleading eyes. He really wanted to help make Camille's and Linus' wedding special. As hopefully he would have one day. One day. Aw yes! Camille and Linus were getting married in two weeks and the best man and maid of honor were supposed to dance together, but as all promises that are kept some are meant to be broken.

That was Camille biggest request, well, among many she had lately. She was a demanding bride to be and Kirsten was getting sick of it. Now she was here. She had to try to at least seem like a decent dancer before Camille and Linus's wedding. Oh boy. Cameron walked over to her.

"Kirsten. It's okay." Cameron soothed as he took her hands in his. "You'll get the hang of this. I promise." He reminded her with a small smile. Kirsten shook her head. "No I won't! How are such a great dancer? You do realize you're a neuroscientist, right?" Cameron began to laugh. "Yeah, Stretch. I do."

"Want me to tell you a secret?" Cameron offered as he joined Kirsten on the floor. He glanced over to her awaiting for an answer. "Sure."

"When I was in high school, I took musical theatre. That was my first passion. Before I found my passion for science of course." Cameron informed the blonde.

"Wow, Dr. Goodkin. I never would have guessed." Kirsten teased. Cameron began to laugh. "Uh yeah."

"So why the switch?" The blonde asked suddenly. Cameron raised an eyebrow in confusion.

"Excuse me?"

"From thespian to neuroscientist? Why switch?" Kirsten asked again. It seemed to intrigue her. She's known Cameron for so long now that she would have never figure he would have been an artsy type of guy. It just wasn't Cameron. He was to into numbers and logic for all that.

"I fell in love with science just like I did with musical theatre. It just made sense to me. I also realized that I would get paid a lot more working in science than in theatre, so then there's that." Cameron explained his reasoning to Kirsten. She shook her head in understanding.

"But?" She inquired.

"But, my mother didn't see it that way. She didn't want me to become a neuroscientist. Whatsoever. She didn't think that was what I was meant to be. So that's one of the reasons we rarely speak." Cameron revealed to the blonde. Kirsten's expression fell. She felt sadness for Cameron. She never would have figured he would have gone through so much to reach his dreams.

"I'm sorry Cameron." Kirsten apologized.

"It's okay. Wanna try again?" Cameron got up off the floor and offered Kirsten his hand.
She gave him a bright smile as she said, "Absolutely."

Kirsten and Cameron got back into their dancing positions and Cameron pressed play on his iPhone once again.

"Ready?" Cameron asked. She nodded her head more confidently this time. Their fingers interlocked again and Kirsten felt safe. She knew she could do this as long as she had Cameron. Trumpets filled the air as Cameron guide her through the movements.

"Fly me to the moon
Let me play among the stars
Let me see what spring is like
On Jupiter and Mars " He sang with the music. Kirsten's eyes widen in surprise. She had never heard Cameron Goodkin sing a day in her life and she didn't know why. His voice was magical.

"Cameron Goodkin! You can sing?!" She exclaimed in disbelief. His voice was like the voice of an angel. It was mysterious beautiful and she wished she heard it sooner.

"Maybe- I took musical theatre remember? And maybe 5 years of voice classes prior to that as well." He admitted as he spun Kirsten around with ease. You would have never guessed she was terrible dancer if you didn't know before. She let all of her worries wash away and she forgot her problems as she danced with the brunette. "Wow Stretch, you're doing amazing!" He cheered as the couple moved to the music.

"Thanks, Cam." She thanked him as she rested her head against his shoulder. She She loved this. She loved hearing him hum to the tune of music. She loved hearing his heartbeat. She loved being apart of this moment. She never wanted to let it go.

"In other words, in other words
I love-" Cameron sang in her ear. Then without a second's notice, he dipped her, making sure not to drop her. "You." He sang with a bright smile. He saw the look in her eyes. The sunshine that radiated from them. His sunshine. He knew what he had to do. He finally kissed her. The kiss was so sweet, so passionate. As they broke apart and Cameron lifted her up from the dip. The blonde and brunette was all smiles. Kirsten never thought this would ever happen, but finally it did.

"I realize that Camille and Linus are getting married in two weeks but I don't imagine them being the only ones at Stitchers getting married anytime soon." He suggested to Kirsten. Kirsten started to blush.

"Ya think?"

He nodded. "Oh I know." He stated as he intertwined his fingers with hers.
