A/N: Based on When Darkness Falls (Stitchers Halloween Special)
Lighting flashed against Cameron's window. Thunder cackled in the sky. Rain poured down his apartment building to where it was one of the only sounds audible. Until she came. Beating down his door like the world was going to end.Cameron was in deep sleep, chasing his dreams when she woke him up. His eyes shot open at the sound. He slipped his glasses on he found on his nightstand and refocused his vision. It as 2:03. Who would wake him up this late at night? Through rain or shine only one person wakes him in the lateness of the night.
Kirsten Clark.
The continuous banging didn't cease as he walked towards the door. Irritated was the only emotion read on his face. I mean he was having a great dream.
As he opened his door he found a anxious Kirsten awaiting him.
"I realize you don't understand the concept of time but do you have any clue what time it is?" He questioned with aggravation striking through his voice."Devon was at my house!" She defended as she walked in to his apartment.
"Kirsten-"
"No, he was at my window then he just disappeared like a ghost!"
"Like a ghost?"
"Yeah I know Devon's dead." She stated annoyed. Cameron had a smirk and agreed, "Uh yeah I think so Kirst."
"Do you have a chocolate-hazelnut spread?" Kirsten asked hopefully as she frantically looked around his kitchen.
"Excuse me?" Cameron gave an questioning look at her request.
"Chocolate hazelnut spread. It calms me down." Kirsten explained holding a spoon. Cameron raised a eyebrow then said, "Uh yeah." Pointing to the cabinet which held her life saver. After unscrewing the lid and handing her the container, he admitted, "There's a little tidbit of information I never knew about you."
"Milk?" Kirsten asked as she began to eat a big spoonful of Nutella.
"That calm you down too?"
She let out a little laugh. "No, it goes with the chocolate."She told him as she pointed to the Nutella with her spoon. He smiled as he opened the fridge and grab the carton of milk. The brunette soon gave it to her and retreated to his another cabinets for a glass. Kirsten began to gulp down the milk without a second thought.
"Here let me get you a glass." He offered as he searched his cabinets. Once he turned around he saw the blonde finish off his milk.
"Never mind-" The neuroscientist remarked. He glanced at Kirsten for a moment. He just knew something wasn't right with his Stretch.
"Should I be worried about you?" He asked as he continued to look at the fearful Kirsten.
"No Cameron. But I can't shake this feeling that he's still here. His ghost is still here watching me." She justified. I mean c'mon. Kirsten Clark doesn't do scared.
"Well I mean that make sense." Cameron began. The blonde gave him a questioning look. "Because for you there are. Things sometimes linger in from stitches like ghosts."
"But I wasn't in the stitch, I was at home." She continued as she waved her spoon around as she spoke.
"Things sometimes stay with your subconscious." He told her as he tucked a loose piece of blonde hair behind her ear. "Are you sure you're okay?"
"I just need some sleep." Kirsten reassured the nervous brunette.
"Alright c'mon. Let's get some sleep." Cameron advised as he led Kirsten to his room.
