[HIATUS] Some Childe x Zhongli stuff, I don't have any other ideas for a title.

[A/N] - 10/12/25

Hey everyone, to those who still happen to open up this web-story from time to time or kept this tucked away into your reading lists for several years, or maybe even still use this app for the longest time, I deeply appreciate all of you and your support. From the bottom of my heart, I really didn't expect this to be one of my biggest seen projects on a platform like Wattpad, and I love all of you for being with me on this journey.

It has been roughly 4 YEARS (crazy how time flies) since I've created this story between two of my favorite characters in Genshin Impact: a beloved game that I hold close to me both past and present. A lot of things have changed, both in and out of the game. I still remember Inazuma being the recently teased and released(?) nation during the making of this story—maybe even before that! Jeez, it's all so nostalgic~

But any who, wouldn't it be crazy to say that an eleven/twelve-year-old wrote this from beginning to middle? Well, guess what! That did happen... for a short period of time, by which I mean, roughly for only a year or two into writing before ultimately abandoning it.

And here I am now, the ripe age of sixteen (cough, cough. LOSER UNC!!!).

My art of writing and detailing has improved A LOT since then (could you tell that little me was pretty much writing from the heart with little to no planning LOL?), so do you know what that means?! This story will be getting future revisions and tons of editing from where I left off so that it's more impacting to you: the viewer! Additionally, because we've seemingly been put on hold on a random cliffhanger, just so everyone has a piece of mind, we are STILL in the middle of the entire storyline, so there's a bunch of content that lingers ahead that I never got to touch up on. Hey, maybe even brand-new ideas might be tossed into the mix.

This goes without saying, however, that fixing up this story won't happen quickly or soon enough than what you're hoping to see. Dealing with 10th grade work (I was in 6th grade when I published my first chapter) has got me extremely busy with no room for time with this platform, unfortunately, but I do hope to find it whenever possible. Also, with other story projects in the making, I will have to prioritize this one the least (which I hope you all can understand).

That's all that I have to say for now. I'm glad that you all enjoy my work (despite its current quality)!!! I appreciate the feedback, comments, and so much more that I can barely put into words. You can ask away any questions, and I'll be more than happy to answer them.
