..
I wake up in a panic the next moring, but oddly enough I was in my room. I grab my head in pain, as I raise up a little too quickly. Groaning, I try to get up, unraveling myself from my duvet. I sit on the edge of my bed for a moment trying to gather myself. Why do I feel so out of place? Why can't I remeber anything that happened last night? I don't even know how I got in my room.
I hear rustling from outside my door, shortly afterwards Luke walks in. "Your awake." He softly says, putting down a breakfast platter.
"What happened last night?" I ask rubbing my temple. "Did I get drunk?"
"Uhm well, yes." He awkwardly rubs the back of his head, looking anywhere but me.
A small lightbulb goes off in my head, giving me just a small amount of the missing chunk from last night. "You got me drunk, didn't you." He shrugs, showing off that signature smirk, but doesn't respond. I groan making my way into my bathroom to get an asprin. As I enter, I catch my reflection in the body mirror, quickly giving myself the slightest glance. From what I saw I looked terrible, but then again, I think I look like that all the time.
"Why did you get me drunk, Luke?" I ask drinking the pill down with water.
"Let's just say that when I say I gave you an explaination, I'm technically not lying."
"What the fuck?"
"You wanted an explaination as to why I treated you the way I did in high school, you got it last night."
He played me. He got me drunk so that he can precive my family as the good guy he isn't. So that when something does finally bubble up, and he can't pretend we're stangers, he can act like he did the right thing and told me the truth. They'll think I'm the bad guy. He'll take away the only thing I have left in this world: My family. "How dare you?!" I raise my voice.
"Simmer down, Simmer down." Luke chuckles. "I told you why I bullied you. You know now. Can we start over and just let the past be the past?"
"It's not the past, Luke, if I don't remember it. I knew you remembered me. Tell me why. Tell me." By now I'm whispering.
"I never told you to get drunk." He chuckles again.
"What'd you want?" I throw my hand up in frustration.
Luke holds a serious face, scaning my whole body. "You." He says stepping closer.
I roll my eyes, stepping away. Before I can get out, he grabs my arm. "I know how to get want I want." Luke taunts.
"I know how to stay away from the things I don't." I huff.

The whole Hemmings family came over to my house after a while for just 'family' fun. Since we have to consider them part of our family, they do all the family activites that we normally do, which sucks because the Andersons spend a lot of time together. And on top of that, Luke of course had permission to invite his friend group over.
"Addy come swim with us!" Caleb calls from inside the pool. I'm sitting on the deck in the hot sun, barely getting tanned.
"I'm good!" I call back.
"Hey boys." Shelby parades, entering the fence with her swimsuit, which was hardly even a two piece. Sometime she makes me mad because she never acts like a slut when mum and dad are around.
Michael, Calum, and Ashton all drop their jaws. "Hey." They say. Luke however, looks away from her, keeping his eyes on me. I roll my eyes and lay back down, slightly feeling my head throb. Thankfully the feeling was now bareable.
A few mintues later, after listening to Shelby flirt, and Caleb getting annoyed that the attention wasn't on him, a shadow blocks my sun. I squint through my eyelashes, making out Luke's figure. "What?" I harshly question, raising up on my elbows.
"Get in." He points his head to the pool.
"No Luke go the hell away."
"You asked for it." He shrugs, swiftly picking me up and slinging me over his shoulder.
"LUKE PUT ME DOWN! DON'T FUCKING THOW ME IN!" I kick and scream, but I'm no match to his strength. One quick toss, and I plummet into the water.
"I fucking hate you." I hiss.
"Don't say that." Luke murmurs. Nobody else hears but me. I shake my head, climbing up the pool stairs.

So pretty much this day sucked. After Luke through me in the pool, my headache got really bad, and I silently thanked him after that because I got to sit out of the rest of the activites. I'm damned though, because tomorrow we'll be going to a drive-in movie. Something I've always enjoyed doing. Only one problem: The Hemmings family will be joining.
