...

"Addy can you help me?" Shelby questions from the kitchen.

"With what?"

"This. I don't get it." She gestures to her binder and textbook. I take a look at her paper, seeing the scribbles of number and notes. Geometry.

"Look it's easy. What is the angle of line segment ACB?" I read the question to her.

Shelby groans. "I don't know. I'm not smart like you."

"The angel is C. I'm not that smart. I just read it from your notes." I wink at her, as she looks dumbfounded.

The doorbell sounds, so I jump up and answer the door. "Michael?" I ask.

"Hey Adeline. Uh I need to ask you a question, and I'm sure your going to say no, but I need your help."

I groan. "Why does everyone need my help today? What is it?"

"Come with me." Reluctantly, I follow. We walk among the sidewalk, following the famillar scenery.

"Why are we in the park?"

"You don't know this, but I'm actually in college. I'm taking photography classes and I need a pretty girl to pose for me." I feel myself blush, so I look away. "Luke suggested you to me." Michael smirks. When I don't reply, he says. "So what's the deal with you two anyways?"

"I-I don't know." I really don't know. I'm starting to like him, but I don't know if its right.

"Well he really likes you. Like more than just like."

"I know.." I retort.

"Anyways... stand over there by that tree. Make a sexy pose."

I just kind of stand there with my arms crossed, not knowing what he meant by 'sexy'. "Come on Adeline Anderson, show me what you made of."

"Uh.." My face burns, and my heart pounds.

"Here do this." Michael poses for me, putting his butt out, and biting his index finger.

"Oh my gosh, Michael. Your hotter than me. I think you have the wrong person for this." I shake my head, trying to object.

"Nope. I've got just the right person. Your hot. I'm hot. We're hot."

"Please stop saying hot."

"Then pose."

I sigh and try to copy Michael's pose from earlier, but I fail. "Maybe that pose isn't for you. Turn around and look over your shoulder, but don't smile." I do as I'm told. "Okay but don't make it seem like your mad." I lighten my facial features, but still don't smile. 'Perfect."

"Now look away and smirk. Show a little bit of teeth, but not too much."

"Your beautiful. Now look at the camera and give me a big smile." He tells me. For the last one I take it upon myself to blow a kiss to the camera. "You wanna look at em?" I nod as I stand on the bench to peer over his shoulder.

"I can see why Luke fancies you. If you were my girlfriend, I'd make you pose nude."

"Michael!" I screech. "Luke and I aren't even dating."

"So if you were, you'd go nude?"

"No!" I laugh.

"Luke just texted me. He wants you back."

~xx~

"Hey Addy." Luke jumps off the couch, and embraces me in a hug.

"Here Luke. Your girlfriends beautiful."

"She's not my-"

"Just look." Michael commands, shoving the camera in his face. I feel my face flush as I see Luke's flush.

"Wow." Is all he says when he looks up.

I look away, not liking the attention that was being placed on me. "So you wanna watch a movie? Ash and Cal should be over later."

"I don't want to intrude."

"No. I want you here." Luke repeatively nods.

"Okay."

~xx~

We settled on watching the SpongeBob Movie. Courtesy of Michael and Ashton. About half way through the movie, I fall asleep. Luke's warm chest and the pounding of his heart sent me straight to sleep. "Is she asleep?" Ashton asks, nodding his head towards me.

Luke bends down, careful not to wake me. "Yeah." He whispers.

"You really like her, don't you?" Calum whispers.

"No. I love her. And if I could take all the pain and misery that I put her through, then I would. If I could have her laying in my arms like this forever, I would never let her go. I could never complain. One day I want to be able to call her my own. I wont stop trying until I get her."
