...
I wake up a little bit earlier than Adeline this morning and I just lay there for a moment, taking in her beauty. She always looks so peaceful when she sleeps with me. Her breathing matches to mine, and her head fit perfectly on my chest. I could look at her all day long.
I slightly jump when her alarm clock sounds with that annoying beep, that I can't stand. Addy groans and sits up to slam her hand across the button. She snaps her head in my direction and her eyes go wide. "You stayed." She says in amazement.
"Yeah." I say in a 'duh' tone. "Where would I go?"
Her face softens. "Why'd you get kicked out?"
"When I came back from the store after I saw you with Calum, I was just really ticked off, and I forgot the noodles that I was originally sent there for and mum kept asking me question so I took out my anger on her. Things were said- things that I shouldn't have said-and she slapped me, and now I'm with my brother." I sum it up for her.
"Luke." Is all she says, and she wraps her small arms around my neck. That's really all I need to make me feel better. "Shit." Addy suddenly says, and runs to the bathroom.
"What are you doing?" I question.
"I've gotta get ready for work!" She calls, so assume she's taking a shower.
"Mind if I join you?" I smirk as I enter the door.
"I don't have time for that." She scolds me with a look.
"Who said we were going to do anything? In case your forgetting, I have a job that I need to be getting ready for too."
Adeline sighs, putting her hands on her hips. "Fine." She confirms and turns on the facet.
Adeline slowly takes off her shirt, revealing that she had not been sleeping in a bra. Her cheeks blush bright red as she catches me staring. I take off my shirt and walk over to her, pressing our naked chests together. "You're so beautiful." I whispers, kissing her cheek and down her neck.
"Luke" Addy says my name breathlessly. "I really- we really don't have time for this. Not right now anyways."
"I know." I pout, baring the rest of my body with her.
"Do you even have your work uniform here?" She wonder, while putting shampoo in her hair.
Since her eyes were closed, I took this opportunity to look at the view. "N-no." I stutter.
"You're going to be late for work." She states the obvious.
"Then you'll be late with me." I wink at her. She gives me that look like she gives when she's trying to keep a straight face, but fails miserably. "Come on. I want you to meet my brother anyways."
"Okay, but if I'm late, it's on you." She says, wrapping her arms around my waist, sending small kissing on my chest.
"I will bend you over right here, right now." I warn her.
She giggles, and kisses me hard on the mouth before stepping out of the tub, out of my view.
"Adeline?!" Rose calls from the other side of the door.
I instantly, poke my head out of the curtain to see if she'll tell me what to do.
"Yes?" She answers.
"Adeline, honey I'm coming in real quick." Her mother says, and starts fumbling with the door knob.
Adeline quickly jumps back in the shower with me and shoves me under the water to where the droplets make my hair flatter and flatter. Addy puts her finger to her mouth, telling me to be quiet. I give her a sarcastic look, obviously knowing that I couldn't make a sound.
"Adeline, I put your uniform on your bed. And um who's pants are these?"
Adeline pokes her head out saying, "Mine."
"But these are way to big for you. And this shirt isn't yours either."
"Geez, Ma, maybe I like to have my clothes bigger for more comfort. You don't know. Get off my back."
"Okay, okay." Her mother says defensively. "You'd better not be sneaking that Hemmings boy in here."
"I'm not, Mum. Don't you trust me?" She lies.
I do, I do. I love you honey." Adeline scoffs, and her mother walks out.
"Well that was close." I joke, turning off the water.
"No kidding, Luke." Addy rolls her eyes.
"Hey, what'd I do?" I ask, wrapping a towel around me, following behind her into her room, as she locks her door so no one will come back in.
"Nothing. Sorry. They've just been so on me here lately. It's like-I don't know, I just cant stand to be around them here lately."
"Maybe you're finally just growing up." I shrug. "Maybe it's time for you to move on, break free a little more."
Adeline sighs, and pulls her hair up into a bun. "I'll walk out the front door, and meet you at my window."

Addy and drive down the road to my brother's home so I can grab my work clothes. "How come we're keeping these jobs anymore?" I wonder.
"Just because we're not going on the trip anymore, doesn't mean we can't hold a job. One day I'll have to move out. What better way then to save up now?"
"We could move in together." I blurt out, not even thinking beforehand. "I mean it's just an idea."
"Really?" She glances at me with a twinkle in her eyes.
"Yeah, I mean this could be a perfect way to let our parents know that they can't just tell us what to do anymore."
"We could start looking at college classes to take to earn a better job so we can support one another." Addy adds.
I nod feeling a smile spread over my face. "Sure."
"Okay." She smiles but it doesn't reach her eyes, and I think I know why.
"I'm sorry we're not going to America, babe. One day we'll go, I promise."
"It's just- this has been a dream of mine since I was little. I hate seeing it just go straight out the window."
"I know." I softly say, putting a hand on her thigh, I mean there's really not much to say. "We're here."
We both get out of the car and I lead her into my brother's home. "Ahh, I guess I know where you went last night." Jack smiles, greeting us at the door. "And I guess this is your beauty." He adds, looking her up and down.
"Yeah she's mine." I put more emphasize on 'mine'. "Anyways, her name is Adeline. Adeline this is Jack, my big brother."
"Nice to meet you big brother." Addy, giggles shaking his hand.
"Good looks and manners? Luke you hit the jackpot this time." Jack laughs.
"Right?" I yell back, while putting on my suit. "Let's go. Don't want to be late for work. I'll bring her by another time and you guys can get to know each other." I nod.
"Sure." Adeline smiles. "Nice meeting you, Jack."
"You too, Adeline." Jack smiles, making me feel more uncomfortable my the minute, but I knew he was doing this to pick a bone with me.
~Xx~
Adeline dropped me off at my work, not missing the part when she makes fun of me for working at a bowling arena. I think it's okay, I mean it's fun.
Now I guess I have a real reason to work. We will be moving in with each other, and this time we're going to stick to our plans, not matter what anybody says. We can both start putting our lives together, and build a future. For a couple in their twenties, you'd say it's about time.
"Luke?" I hear a familiar voice call my name, but I don't quiet recall the voice.
I turn around with a confused look on my face, but then I realize who it is and my stomach drops. Why would she be coming here? I thought I would never see her again. "Amanda."
