When we arrive at Delaney's house, we all climb out of the cars and make our way in to her small kitchen. Delaney gestures for us to go in to the living room, but I follow her in to the kitchen, knowing she will need help carrying the snacks out.
"Elle told me to stay away from Harry today" I tell her
"Or what? She's going to throw her tiara at you?" She jokes and hands me two bowls of chips
I giggle as we walk in to the living room and we set the food and drinks on her coffee table. Everyone takes a little of something and begins to talk. I reach over and take my homework out of my backpack, beginning on the next question and Xavier groans.
"C'mon! Do your homework later"
"I have to get it done, if I don't my mom will kill me. So it's here or at the game later" I say and he smiles
"Carry on then"
After about an hour of writing down what people around me are saying instead of the solutions to the problems, I finally finish and close my book before shoving it back in to my bag.
"Finally" Delaney sighs "We're leaving in fifteen minutes because I want good seats"
"Alright" We all agree
The conversation becomes louder as we all start to argue over which character is best on Supernatural, having Emma, Xavier and I saying Dean and Harry and Delaney saying there is no doubt it is Sam. Before we can really get in to it though, Delaney stands up and informs us that we have to leave now because she is not having a repeat of last year and sitting at the bottom row and almost getting hit with a football. I giggle at the memory and she shoots me a look.
"Quickly now children, we're already running behind my schedule" she hurries us
I sling my backpack over my shoulder and follow everyone else out of the house. Harry follows behind me closely as I walk over to Delaney's van but before I can reach It, he grabs my arm and I turn to look at him.
"Come with me?" He asks and I just about faint before nodding
"Xavier!" He calls "Lea is going to come in my car, Ill just meet you there"
Delaney winks at me and I quickly clim in to Harry's more spacious car. He turns the key in the ignition and backs out of her driveway before following her back to the school. I stare out the window, taking in the changing leaves. I jump a little when Harry reaches over to turn up the heat.
"So" I say and look down at my fingers "Is there a reason you wanted me to come with you and not Xavier?"
"YOU don't always talk about sports" He jokes "Are you excited?"
"Kind of" I admit "It's kind of chilly out tonight though"
"I have an extra jacket" He says, reaching back and pulling out a coat, not taking his eyes off the road
He hands it to me and I smile. I can smell his cologne in the air as I take it, the scent almost mouthwatering. Harry pulls in to the parking lot beside Delaney and smiles at me before getting out of the car. I quickly follow him, sliding on the jacket. I watch as he struts over to Xavier and begins to talk as Delaney and Emma walk over to me.
"He gave you his jacket?" Emma squeaks
"I told you so" Delaney whispers in my ear and I blush
We all walk to the field and make our way up the bleachers. Xavier leads us to the very top and moves all the way down to the corner. Harry sits next to him, followed by Me and Delaney, with Emma on the end. We all talk as the people start to flood in, the stands getting fuller and fuller with each minute that passes. I see the cheerleaders arrive, with Elle in front. I watch as she yells at a first year, trying to get the group in order. As they take their jackets off, I lean over to Delaney.
