"You're really nervous, aren't you?" Harry asks as we get closer to our destination

"Yes" I whisper "What gave me away?"

"You're being very quiet" He observes "Ill be right there next to you the whole time"

"Promise?"I ask and glance at him

"Promise" He agrees and takes my hand

We make our way to the haunted house and he drives in to the overpacked parking lot. We look around for Delaney's mini-van and when we spot it, they all wave at us and point to the empty spot next to their car. Harry runs his thumb over the top of my hand and smiles at me. We get out of the car and I walk over to Delaney, who pulls me in to a big hug.

"Are you scared?" She whispers, trying to do her best ghost impression and I push her off

"No" I say and Harry walks over to me, putting his arms around my waist and kiss the top of my head.

"Delaney?" He asks "Do you mind if I stay over as well tonight?"

"Xavier is staying too" She laughs "You might as well join the party"

"Thanks" He smiles

"Alright!" Xavier says loudly and claps his hands together "You guys ready to do this?"

"As we'll ever be" Emma laughs and takes his hand

Delaney rolls her eyes and hooks her arm through Xavier's empty one. He looks down at her and raises an eyebrow.

"Im not walking though that without someone to protect me" She shrugs and he smirks

We all laugh and walk towards the line of people waiting. I pull myself closer to Harry's side as we get in the line. It moves faster than I expect, and my heartbeat quickens. We hear a large man at the front announcing the safety precautions as we step closer to the stairs of the house, and I gulp. Delaney looks back at me and gives me a wicked smile. I frown and Harry leans down so his lips are at my ear.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" He whispers and I look up at him

"Yes" I try to say confidently, but my voice trembles

"It'll be fun. There is nothing to be afraid of, Im right here" He assures me and rubs my back

"Im not afraid" I say as the gates open, letting us in "I just don't want to die"

I squeeze Harry tighter and he continues to rub my back. We walk up the steps and into the house where eery music is being blasted. It is dimly lit and there are decorations everywhere. I have no clue how someone could do this to their house. Harry has to push me forward so that we can actually start to make our way through the home and I grip his shirt in my hands. He wraps his arms around me protectively and I let out a little breath.

"It's okay, Lea" He says and I stare wide-eyed at what's ahead.

I can already hear Delaney and Emma screaming ahead of us, or maybe it's Xavier, Emma likes things like this. I smile at the though until I feel something grab my ankle and I let out a small scream. I feel Harry chuckle at me and I frown, but ignore him. We continue our walk, which turns into a very slow jog, through the house. Things continue to pop out and I continue to shriek. Near the end, something wet rubs my leg and I let out a piercing scream. Harry rubs my back, trying to calm me but laughs at the same time. I look up at him and tears form in my eyes. He looks down apologetically but I shake my head and remove myself from his grip, walking quicker. How dare he laugh at me. He knows I hate scary things, and he now finds it amusing to see me like this. I hear him following me, so I run to the exit and I see Delaney waiting outside. I run to her and hug myself to her body, letting some tears escape. She hugs me back and tries to stop me from shaking.
