As I walk in to the hallway, I notice someone leaning against the wall. I look up and see arms covered in black ink and then I am greeted by a smiling Harry.

"Hey"

"Hi?" I say, making it sound more like a question "Why are you out here?"

"It's still raining. I wanted to see if you wanted a ride home and Delaney told me you had gym last period"

"Oh" I breathe

"So, do you?" He grins

"Oh, um, yes please"

He smiles at me and we start to walk down the hall. As we walk, I can't help but think of Elle. The way they act every day in English, her and Harry. They would be the perfect couple, they're both amazingly good looking. They would look like a celebrity couple walking down a red carpet together. I let out a large exhale of breath and walk a little faster, which doesn't phase Harry's large strides. When we arrive at my locker, I open it, throw my gym things down and stuff my math textbook in to my backpack. I hastily grab the bag out of my locker and slam the door shut.

"What did the locker ever do to you?" Harry jokes beside me and I jump a little, forgetting he was with me

"Nothing. It's just part of this school" I smile and he shakes his head

I let him take the lead as we walk into the parking lot. From the glass doors, you can see the rain pouring down outside. Harry pushes the door open and bolts in to the rain and I use my fastest pace to try and catch up with him. When I finally do, I watch him climb in to a white range rover and my mouth falls open. I stand there for a second before realizing that it is still raining and I climb quickly in to the car.

"Your parents let you drive their car?" I ask, knowing mine would never.

"This is my car" He states, playing with some dials on the dashboard.

"Oh"

Im careful not to touch anything as he carefully pulls out of his parking space. I pull my seatbelt on quickly as we pull on to the road. I sit still and glance at him and he looks over at me as well, a twinkle of humour in his eye.

"You can move, you know"

I let my shoulders relax slightly and I run my hands over the leather on the seat. All of my life my parents have only had minivans. I mean, I've been in other cars but this is pretty much the most expensive one. The drive is silent, expect for me telling him when to turn left or right.

"What's the last film you watched?" He asks

"Um, I think it may have been 'The Great Gatsby' with my little sister" I answer "Not the old, old one, like the newer version with Leonardo DiCaprio"

"Was it any good?"

"Yes" I smile "Go right here"

"Ill have to watch it" He says, mostly to himself

"Why were you wondering about Elle?" He asks as he makes the turn "Last night, I mean, when Delaney texted me"

Crap

"I was just curious" I say, trying to keep my tone calm

"Sure" Harry says, amusement clear in his voice

I blush, and thankfully he pulls up to my house. He stops at the top of the driveway and I open the door and hop out. I lean back in to grab my bag and look over at him.

"Thanks for the ride" I say a little louder, over the rain hitting the ground

"Anytime" He smiles and I run to my front door
