"Harry" She says as he looks over me "This is Kaelea"

"Hello, Kaelea" Harry smiles, looking down at me

"Call me Lea" I correct and then look at the floor, slightly intimated by the fact that he is probably the best looking guy I've ever seen "Please"

"Lea" He corrects himself and I peak up to see him looking down at the gold watch on his wrist.

The bell sounds before anyone can say anything else. Harry, Emma and Xavier start to walk one way, telling us they would meet us in the cafeteria at lunch before hurrying down the hall. Delaney and I smile and begin to walk at a quick pace towards our first period ancient history class with Mrs. Kavanaugh. As we enter the class, I look over at Delaney, who is smiling at everyone she passes on the way to her seat.

"And who was that?" I ask, and she turns to me as I take the seat next to her

"Harry" She says sarcastically and I roll my eyes

"You know what I mean"

"That, Kaelea, was Mr. Harry Styles." She smiles "He moved her during the summer and we met him at a party. We spent most of the summer with him, he's pretty cool. He was the extra person we brought on the road trip to New York"

Oh yeah, my replacement.

I nod and turn back in my seat to face the front of the classroom where Mrs. Kavanaugh is getting ready to start. She immediately starts to explain everything she possibly can about the course and what we are going to be learning this semester. I keep peaking over at Delaney as she talks, hoping she will look over at me too, so I can ask her a little more about Harry, but she keeps her focus on the teacher. After a minute, I can see a small smile quirk on her lips and I know she is ignoring me. I huff and look away from her, annoyed.

The entire lesson was boring and most of it ended up being  Mrs. Kavanaugh going over previous years assignments and telling us her expectations for this year. Just as class is about to end, she looks all of us over and stands in the middle of the room with one hand on her hip and a piece of chalk in the other hand. She smiles at the class before saying;

"If you ever feel like you're obsessing over someone or something too much, just remember that people in ancient Rome used to buy vials of their favourite gladiators sweat to wear as their perfume"

The whole class erupts in laughter and Mrs. Kavanaugh dismisses us just as the bell rings. Everyone begins to talk on their way out of class and she tries to yell over all of us and remind us to get our course information sheets signed. Delaney says a quick goodbye to me as she walks out the door and runs off to her biology class, her favourite subject. I walk through the crowd alone and up the stairs to my math class.

When I walk in I see Emma sitting in the back. She waves at me and I jog over to her, thankful Im not all alone like last year.

"This class will be the death of me" She whispers and I smile

"C'mon, you're not that bad at math"

"Please, If i get even a fifty-percent in this class I will consider that an achievement"

I give her a small smile as Mr. Reek walks in the room and the entire class goes silent. During my short three years at this school, along with many other people, I have learned that you do not mess with Mr. Reek. He does not put up with anything and has a reputation for handing out detentions left and right. He has to be one of the strictest teachers at our school. He quickly gives the class a once over, squinting his eyes a little and then calls out everyones name for attendance, but it sounds more like a military roll call.
